While we're talking up possible trades and acquisitions in other threads, I think it's not a bad idea to have a think about the other side of the equation. For every player that comes in, another has to leave.
Looking through our rookie list there's not a single player I'd like to let go of. Cachia, Casboult, Dare, Donaldson and Touhy all look like they have something, and the promoted rookies Ellard and White haven't put a foot wrong.
That leaves the senior list. Three must go, to make room for the mandatory 3 national draftees. The way I see it, this is the queue for the exit:
Wiggins (retires)
Fisher (not the answer. Shame about the century.)
Tiller (young but making no impression)
Anderson (courageous and hard working, but that's it)
Browne (application and skills not quite AFL)
O'Keefe (always injured)
Johnson (The MC's mind may already be made up)
That doesn't mean I want them all gone, just my pecking order.
Thoughts?
