Cripps would be no chance of starting 22 at freo, wouldnt be in the top 30,however he would be a walk up start for your mob atm, perhaps you should listen to the MAILMAN as he delivers

anybody who can do a sub 15 second 100m will get a gig in the plodding Freo midfield.

I bet WC and Collingwood wish he had of said that before Lynch went. May have been able to organize a trade deal of some sort.

Why? Lynch is a FA.

Collingwood would have come out of the deal with only Lynch as compensation. Now they will get Lynch and Pick 17.

You would be laughed out of the building if you traded for a FA.

Where did I mention swapping Lynch for Wellingham?????
Could have helped WC, they may have been able to use Lynch in some sort of deal and picks involved to get Wellingham. And I'm certain Lynch would have been happy to stick around to trade time to help out his club.

Look at it from the Collingwood perspective, why trade for someone they could get for free? For example, say Richmond's Astbury wants to be traded to Port (purely hypothetical), as a Richmond supporter, would you rather get something for Astbury alone? Or would you rather trade for Chaplin as apart of the deal (even though you could get him for free), and give something to Port for Chaplin.
