Jefferson County went 52% to 47% to Bush in 2004. It is currently 55% to 44% to Obama.

It's the first Bush 2004 state to be called for Obama.

Can McCain still win? Well he'd have to carry either Washington or Oregon (among a whole lot of others) which just doesn't seem plausible.

FOX have Obama on 183 and McCain on 81. Fox haven't called Michigan which will definately go Obama giving him 200. The three Pacific coast states total 73 electoral votes and are all Democrat strongholds. Giving 273 without the need for Virginia, Indiana, North Carolina, Florida or Colorado.
