Let me guess you will try and blame Obama for the current US economic mess; what is it the second recession during Bush's time as president?

Some of that wasn't helped by what Clinton did as mcgarnacle pointed out. Bush and McCain both tried to get legislation passed to improve regulation on lenders. Both failed thanks to the democrats.

What happened the last time a president raised taxes in a recession?

Doubt Obama is not going to get the landslide, but still a massive win.

Virginia just called for Obama. He's ahead in Florida and Indiana. And absolute dead heat in North Carolina. He's also well ahead in Colarado (albeit only 35% reporting). Smells like landslide to me.
