Based on his comments earlier this year, things would have to go really wrong for him to leave. Like a falling out of some sort.

Hawks are a 7-10 side, I'll make it clearer next time. I don't even bother with you guys, you are as irrelevant as we are, pound for pound more so, given your supporter base, financials, chances of success.

Brad Scott was our coach I'm fairly sure, we were 7-10 under him for near on a decade. Brad was Luke's first coach - do you get it now? or potentially was a bit complicated for Essington fans.

So Hawks aren't a 7-10 side or Brad Scott is not a 7-10 (new contract please) kinda coach, I require some clarification.

LOL, how have I underrated the Hawks.

They're a good team, well coached but with their current spine and midfielder they'll be 7-10 with a good injury run. Just my opinion of course.

Maybe as high as 5th, but I would have thought no higher, certainly not Top 4.

Premiership market - Hawks are 2nd flag fav. Odds are they will finish higher than 7-10.

Wooden spoon market - ess are 4th fav.

I wish you were around during the glorydays of the North Hawthorn Adelaide shitfight on the main board.

It was a fun banter thread but unfortunately it stopped becoming fun when the North supporters stopped showing up. Can't blame them after the four years they've had.

I live Bayside, surrounded by them... have family that are Hawthorn. I watch them closely, they are good, better coached than you are. Playing to their strengths, as I quite clearly pointed out. They are a good team, really well coached and better financed off field than our conveyance's. That isn't up for debate, unfortunately.

I just don't see them as being a flag threat, they'll make finals and be hard to beat, but that's about it.

If I'm wrong, I'll doff my hat to them... say well played etc. I am not buying into the collective though, and 2nd favourites for the Flag is poisonous.

Ooh I’m so excited to bet against hawthorn making the 8.

Classic case of a mediocre team beating up on an easy schedule and jumping into the 8.

Betting market is based largely on percentage. Hawks were happy to blow out bad teams.

Essendon on the other hand. Percentage has them sitting 4th worst. Can’t argue with that. Couldn’t score points last year and unless that changes it will be a tough year
 
IF LDU decided to leave that would be a massive kick in the guts for both the football club & supporter base
The guy is about to enter his prime with some talented support coming through

Just watch out for the cats offering a massive 200 hectare farm on the beach 15 mins from alphabet stadium

After 0-5 they won 13 of 16 including beating the premiers!! That's massive and have added Barrass and Battle.

We'd have to let him leave for 1c more than $1.2 PA. Good player but he'd have to hit a forward on the chest a few times before offering him more.
