Nothing exciting about losing 5 players AND two first round picks to get a guy who has played about 5 good games.
But you didn't need to lose 5 players to fit Jackson in your cap... but agree it's worrying how many players appear to be leaving. I'm told you have another couple of likely trade ns.
We don't need to lose any of them to fit him. But we're still going to lose them. I'm sure there would be a lot less debate about Jackson if we didn't have anyone leaving. Where out list is at atm we could afford to not hit the first round of the draft for a couple years and Jackson would be worth taking the risk for. Now we are losing a lot of important depth and b22 and so paying so much trade capital for Jackson doesn't seem worth it.

Yeah but if one of those 5 games helps your team win a flag and end its premiership drought, then that is the game you will remember for a long long time....thus why the Melbourne fans rate Jackson...and fair enough....think the Freo fans will feel the same if Jackson does the same for Freo in the future.
