Dees were a significantly better team with Jackson instead of Grundles.

In about 3 years time, we will look back on this deal and say Freo got a bargain.

May i was a bit premature on this prediction SMH

Freo will be happy with this deal long term. Jackson will be a superstar, it’s unlikely whoever we take early in the draft is as good as him and Jefferson who we took last year is a project player.

Haven't been watching but Wacko Jacko looks to be having a monstrous game on the stat sheet. Good for him if true, Freo's been under the pump all season and it would do him some good building into next year after a relatively ordinary year overall.

Which mind you it would be hard for anyone up forward with the way Freo have moved the ball at stages this year.

but but he's a guy that's a 2nd ruck only and is potential only lol. Very embarassing by freo supporters who tried to under play Jackson yet tried to overplay Griffin Logue 😆

We have already all admitted that he is a star, came on a lot quicker than anyone could have thought

We ended up paying one of the highest trade prices in the history of the game for him, 13, 4 and 23 is a s**t tonne

Crazy part is he is probs worth it lol
He came on a lot quicker than freo fans thought. All dees fans knew exactly what you were getting. He had already shown it in the games where he was solo rucking at the dees when Gawn was out. It was mind boggling for people to write off a 20yr old ruck that had produced in a granny and was a high draft pick. Not to mention the biggest thing, the eye test which he's passed from day 1.

You paid pick 4 yes and that's sweet justice because when the trade was done everyone thought that you guys would be a top 6 team. It somewhat equalises out the loss.

This one is starting to look like a disaster for the Dees. The difference between a dynasty and a one off premiership possibly?

Nah, he didn't want to stay, Dees can't force him to. But the fact Freo has struggled as a team this year means they end up with some pretty good compensation for him. I said from the outset Jackson would be a gun, once the team gels, he'll be worth it for the Dockers overall, while Melbourne get to bring in multiple high draft picks. It's as close to win-win as Melbourne was ever gonna get out of the trade.

Makes you question their culture then doesn't it? Does Goodman need to go? Is May too much of a destabilising influence?

Hardly a disaster, he walked out on them and they got arguably the second biggest trade haul in history (behind Judd)

Freo gave everything we had with value

This aged well leo29. :)
He increased his output and we weren't smashed in the trade

There have already been pages of Freo supporters in shock at how quickly he came good, I stand by that statement, thank **** he came good so early on as the media would have been unbearable on him (exhibit A, Thewest from rounds 1-3)

49 coaches votes for the season... most of any ruckman this year. But won't be in any All Australian conversations at all, what a joke.

He should be in the AA squad at least, I'm surprised how good he's been. He's only 21 as well, imagine him at 25? Far out.
