Sydney get his $$$ off and Parker gets another year added on, NMFC get some experience.

Can’t see this dragging on.

Value is a 3rd rounder I suspect, but Sydney may want to package something up or try to bank some points for academy players next year.

Well surely we know 2 of Norths fixtures for next year now, Eagles in perth in round 2 and Sydney in Sydney in round 7

I rate this pick-up a lot more than the Darling one. Feels like North finally will start making a move up the ladder and should be able to get to 6-8 wins next year and get ducks in a row for 2026 and onward.
Me too.
Sounds like one who has helped drive standards on and off the field at the Swans.
Wouldn’t be just judging him on his on field output.

Astute pick up by North.

do they count as 300 gamers for north?

Did Franklin kick 1000 goals for Sydney? The highlights are all in red and white of that moment even if most of the goals were with Hawthorn.

Tony Lockett kicked nearly 900 goals at St Kilda before that Sydney highlight breaking the record.

What's your suggestion for getting Toby Pink out of our best 23 in 2025?

Makes sense for all parties, I think. I'm glad he won't end his career in the VFL, and he'll be a big help for the likes of LDU and Wardlaw who have been required to do some extremely heavy lifting at times. Smart pick-up for North.

He helped turn the game against Collingwood when he went in there in the fourth quarter with his fresh legs.

His problem was his lack of speed, which has gotten exposed on occasions over the last few years because he was sharing the midfield with players like Gulden and Warner that don't defend.

I suspect that will be less of a problem at North Melbourne with players like LDU and Wardlaw alongside him. That's a very solid group to have feeding Sheezel.

I like the pickup for NM, but steady on. He kicked 3 when the game had been dead for 45 mins or more. Fox was clearly their best

Junk time goals, I don't think anyone played good for the Swans honestly, Brisbane had winners all over the park.

The whole Swans team was garbage maybe Rowbottom was better.

He had 8 touches and 4 tackles in the first 3 quarters with around 25% CBA attendances. Gonna be a similar role for him at North with a touch more on ball time but he was only good in the last quarter when Brisbane were up 11 goals where he had 6 touches 2 marks 2 tackles and 3 goals.

Imo he will go to North as the 4th on baller and average like 15 touches 3 marks 3 tackles and 1.5 goals a game (25-30 goal season)

Agreed. They had very few who could hold their heads up high. Rowbottom wasn’t one of the worst, but he was still below his usual output.
Fox was the one guy who played above expectations. Got to give that guy his flowers, might’ve played the two best games of his life in losing grand finals

Swans best player in the GF.

Nice little get, can only help the club move forward.

3 goals in junk time while Andrews his direct opponent blankets Sydney in the first half.

Good get but nowhere near the Swans best.

Think this is a good get. Probably has fifty decent games of footy left in him before the kids pass him. Transfers a lot of knowledge to the young kids.

Darling and Parker both good gets IMO providing it's cheap.

Yeah, Parker had a really average finals series outside of a pretty solid lockdown role on Aliir IMO.

His role just wasn't great for him, or those around him really. We played him as a forward, but the problem is he's better suited to playing as a quasi-KPF, and we already have 3 KPFs, so they just kept getting in each others' way.

What do North fans think their forward line looks like next year? If he's playing playing predominantly as a FWD-MID, I think it could work well if the North forward line is Larkey + Comben and the mediums and smalls.
