Tuco said:Don't worry. It won't happen. Mal would be a required player by now. And I seriously doubt that Roos would back down and offer the hawks higher than 3rd pick.
They might, however, get a young player who isn't likely to to be in the senior group on a regular basis any time soon.

Spida + Pick 24 ------> Swans
Pick 15 ----> Carlton
Bret Thornton -----> Hawks
Just a thought.

Wouldn't worry we wouldn't be interested in fringe players. Its only draft picks.Ed_Gein said:Moore? He just signed a new 3 year deal with the Swans. What would be the point in that if we were to trade him off to the Hawks?

Oscar said:I agree Malceski is a player I wouldn't trade, however if the Hawks want one of our best 22 then a deal that could satisfy would be:
everitt + pick 6 for pick 15 + buchanan
Yes we would be giving up a young preimership player but one that could possibly be replaced by a Moore, Schmidt or Willoughby.
Also just think of the possible player that pick 6 might get us
You need to give up quality to get quality!
