Never done ice but I know people who have - the concerning thing is that a lot of people say ‘it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be’ - guess that’s when they’ve just tried it and experienced the positives - but it’s not long before it does lasting damage to your brain.
I can actually understand him being too afraid to try acid, I’ve done it myself, and it was the worst... ice and acid aren’t comparable, from my understanding.
The thing about drugs is that if you’re rich you can kinda get away with it - obviously it’ll probably make you a weirdo and maybe withdrawn, but if you’ve got the money to supply yourself with your addiction, that takes away a large aspect of the negatives - withdrawal, crime to fund your habit etc.

Its self inflicted. Nobody held a gun to his head to take drugs.
Have zero sympathy for him and others like him.
Bullkurd it was to mask the pain. Once his $900k income turned to $100k his habit couldn’t support his tipple of choice, so he slummed it and then ice did what ice does.

I know someone who did ice and for two years caused so much grief for his family. He did not steal or do criminal acts , he was just not the same person and his parents were heart broken who tried every avenue to get help, but there is no help just brick walls. Fortunately he got back on track by himself and is back to the "normality" of being drug free for 2 years . You can ask why? all the time but nobody knows. I feel sorry for Thompson.

Not sure that blaming everything on a bikie is a great defence, personal safety wise.
He said something like this. It's a crime in itself that he didn't speak out when he first knew.

Of course he’s lying. Has to save face somehow. A story about the downward spiral his life has taken and falling in with some bad people probably makes for a better defence than simply saying it’s not yours.
Is this his first admission of guilt in public that it was deliberate program from the club?
I still remember Bomber almost dropping a bomb on 360 and Robbo stopped him .

I used to work in the crim justice system. Ice destroys people, and it doesn't discriminate. Really successful people come through who've lost everything and done unforgiveable things on that poison. Smackies are preferable. At least they don't utterly destroy everything. Stay away from ice.
