The reality is most people don't understand drugs, drug use, addiction, mental health, depression etc. etc. and what I can assure you is Bomber is the same old Bomber, weird, aloof, different, but the same person he was 3 years ago and the same person he was 20 years ago. He will get over this, it is nothing really merely amplified by the celebrity of him.
What he has done, as it's reported, is nothing really, it's pathetically nothing and as far as I'm concerned it's a typical waste of police resources trying to pin crimes on people like Bomber rather than the actual criminals.
What does it matter? What does it mean? Does it take away from what he's done? Does it take away from the person we've all come to appreciate in some form, been inspired by, celebrated his victories as a player or as a coach?
I can tell you about drugs, I can tell you about addiction, I've been a functioning drug addict for 25 years, I own businesses, I have a family, I have responsibilities, but I function, just, I hold onto living, just, but I function.

He's made his choices. If it really was 'the saga' that has sent him down this path, he's had thousands, literal thousands of chances to put things right. Instead we got BS like his comments about the drugs being used to treat cancer, so they must have been good.

i bet he was using and not selling....why would he need too? This is sad people! As i said, he's not exactly an endearing type of guy but it just doesn't add up!

Something very, very sad about a man who professes to finally lay his soul bare, then keeps lying anyway.
Then this rambling on about his obsession with cryptocurrency and how it’s his passion....can think of something the use/abuse of which results in people wired to the gills and up all night becoming obessesive/ocd over the most boring bizzare shit imaginable. If Bomber is trying to tell the world he is clean, he has a funny way of going about it. Can just see Bomber now...sat at his computer, completely cooked, sweating away, teeth grinding away, pissing his fortune away.
And now throwing this free and on the street Windsor bloke under the bus...wtf?

His life a ****ing mess mate. You cannot guarantee he will get over this at all. I hope he does but fear in time will just be another statistic of someone that ****ed their life up big time. He is not the same guy of 20 years ago. Traumatic experiences changes people. Nobody knows if he will ever get his life in order again and be a happy person again. I hope he does, but it looks a very sad tale at present.

I meant more that the court case and conviction whatever it will be (and the public shaming) is something he will get over - certainly his mental health has always been an issue for him no doubt, and the Essendon saga clearly was a traumatic experience that has affected him further.

always thought he was a douchebag and was always spaced out on the tv shows. Probably not ideal to have a drug trafficker working during the essendon drug scandal. Totally suss and I hope he goes to jail and I think he will.
I know enough to know I should stay away from it. That's all anyone needs to know.

In my opinion the AFL have endorsed drug taking with the 3 strike policy and the Broom, Sweep, Rug policy when a player is caught, but as i say that's my opinion.

Well I have sympathy for him, as I do for anyone silly enough to mess their lives up with drugs. I hope he gets back on track and even returns to footy-has a great footy brain. And the kamikaze-style Geelong footy of 2007, under his tutelage- as good to watch as any footy I have seen.
