So how would u try to slip out of a tackle?

If you do it such that it forces the tackle high, then you shouldn't get a free kick for it. IMO, that's holding the ball.

Players know how to tackle. It's only a problem when they're tackling one of the Selwood brothers.

Hahaha. Umps got us over the line my arse. if we kicked straight it wouldn't have even mattered. Seems like every time we win people make excuses for the other team.

(Goal umpiring decision was obviously incorrect, before someone brings that up.)

The league isn't responsible for your inaccuracy in front of goal, but they sure are for blatantly incorrect umpiring decisions.

(And no, we didn't lose because of the umps tonight.)

Believe it or not to pick up the ball you've gotta drop your head. And how many times was Selwood given a free only to have advantage called because he got an effective disposal away anyway?- he doesn't need the umpires help.

Everyone seems to forget the soft frees given to the Cats, like Steve Johnson ducking and getting a free kick in front of goal it goes both ways most of the tossers on here are blinded by there hatred of Collingwood.

Well you said it there your self mate. If you initiate the high contact trying to slip out of what was originally a legal tackle it is play on NOT a HIGH TACKLE FREE. Selwood initiates the high contact.

Disgusting and corrupt umpiring once again favouring the filth, obviously a directive from the AFL to gift them a freebie flag for revenue raising purposes. The entire sport has been compromised by the AFL in favour of the filth, from the favourable fixturing to the consistent cheating by the officials in their favour.

The not given goal was the turning point, Cats had the momentum at that time and goal would have almost iced it for them. They were merely cruising anyway and will smash the scum in September in spite of the officiating.

There were appauling decisions and free's that weren't paid for both sides, so dont be so blinded, 1 sided and ignorant.

That unpaid goal was at a pivitol moment in the match but who's to say collingwood wouldn't have answered by 2 or 3 quick goals anyway?
You just don't know.........besides, the replay in real time suggested that it was a harder decision than first thought.

Meaning no disrespect here but the stats show geelong was outplayed in all aspects of the game, your coach said it himself. He even said the scoreboard was flattering and it should have ended up losing by a far greater margin.

Don't sit there and blame the loss on the the umpires or that collingwood is the afl's favourite, it's rediculous.
