Just thought I'd experiment a bit for Super Sunday next week, because if results fall the right way, were going to be in for some hot title action.

Anyway, the focus is this week. No doubt we all know which is the big game this week, although if this was another season, the answer would've been very different. City vs Leicester is pretty much the biggest case of individual brilliance and very big wage bills taking on team brilliance and a significantly smaller wage bill. If you're watching the match, expect to hear 'X City player is worth more than the Leicester team combined' quite often. You could try a drinking game, but that would be extremely dangerous to your health, so Drinkwater instead.

Hey now, there are some other corkers going later on in the night. Everyone seems to be fighting rivals that are close by on the table, meaning we could be in for some serious table shuffling going on. I'm sure if you've taken a look at the table supplied here, you might get a better idea where your team could potentially finish come the end of the day.

The poll question this week... I think I will save that one next week, which would be significantly more relevant, and maybe even more so if a certain white team from the North sneaks by a team that used to be in the South (I think you know where this question is going already).

Anyway, the question is... are you satisfied with the dealings in your window? It's early days, yes, but hey, we want to know what you think. It could be all hilarious in hindsight (and even then, we may never truly know the answer.) So, now that you've had thee week to reflect, let's see if you approve of your club's business.

Have at it!

Gosh darn it, I thought the forum went through an upgrade? I thought for sure the new tags will work. Works elsewhere with the same forum types. Now I can't even edit the poll anymore.

Ah well, hopefully this suffices for now.

If you'd have asked me back in August if I'd take a home game against Leicester to top the league with Chelsea out of the running I'd have snapped your hand off.

It's not the formality I might have inagined though. Leicester are exactly the sort of team we're struggling against.

Big rewards though and with another home game to Spurs along with Leicester playing Arsenal it's a big opportunity to set ourselves up for the run home

7 games unbeaten is something at least.

hart
zaba otamendi demi kolarov
yaya dinho fernando
sterling kun silva

i feel like im missing someone very obvious. kdb, nasri are out, navas' hammy went ping, no idea about mangala delph, doubt kelechi would start in a big game like this. i like that team though. silva finding a bit of form again wouldnt hurt either.

This is it, the defining game of the season. Two teams with an array of talent who have set the prem alight. Winner takes all.

Yes Palace vs Swans is gonna be a ripper :D

not being very good has also played a part.
Major injuries to key players and a crowded fixture is the reason we are not fighting for 4th.

As for the 3 cup comps, we've done pretty well which is a credit to our depth/kids.

liverpool arent the only team with key injuries and a crowded fixture though

My predictions
Man City 2-1 Leicester
Villa 1-1 Norwich
Liverpool 2-0 Sunderland
Newcastle 2-1 WBA
Stoke 0-0 Everton
Swansea 1-0 Palace
Spurs 2-0 Watford
Southampton 2-2 West Ham
Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal
Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Some interesting games this week most notably being the early kick off game. If Leicester can deny City of all 3 points that would be massive. Arsenal need a win desperately and Bournemouth away will be tricky. Chelsea and Man U almost impossible to predict but I think Chelsea are starting to find a bit of form albeit Man U's win over the weekend. Southampton and the hammers should be another good match, both teams play some nice football but I really can't split them. My Liverpool very Jekyll and Hyde atm but a win against a lowly Sunderland is a must.
Hopefully another eventful week in the best league of them all!

I know we have been gash, but surely we can beat Sunderland... surely. o_O

I hope Watford do Spurs, just because.

United v Chelsea has 0-0 written all over it.

Could be tricky for Arsenal away to Bournemouth, usually they beat up on the smaller teams though.

Villa desperately need to beat Norwich if they are to even start some kind of climb to safety.

As for the big one. Im tipping City. Demi at CB against Vardy's pace spells doom but I think a certain Kun may have a day out.
