6.50 isn't unreasonable at all. Especially when the favourite is 2.50.

Reasonable chance is different to reasonable odds. The bookmakers also thought Leicester were 5000/1 to win the title, means little. If you beat Dortmund then we'll talk.

Included the last one because he said that he'd said his piece 7 pages back. :)

Also found lots of fun quotes belittling Leicester so yay! I've found the posts that I was paraphrasing.
Lol definitely some absolutes there Jod.

I think we have found our BF Darth Vader

Payet led the top 5 leagues last season in assists though, he really should have been a hotter property than what he was.

But then again, the really big clubs aren't into signing a 28 year old unless he's an out and out Star.
He really should have been no doubt. But mid table French side. 28 years old. I understand the way it went. You should be super happy about it though! Haha.

I see a lack of quotes from me in your post....

All you've quoted Jod on is him saying some Leicester players may move if a big club comes in for them.

A Man United fan said the same but you let it ride.

Yeah couldn't be bothered hunting further through the thread.

Yeah because he isn't like you two insufferable bastards who have gone on about it for 9 pages.

Thanks for summing it up but I already have done that in several posts.

If bigger clubs come in for Leicesters top players, they may leave.

Thought Marseille came about 4th or 5th under Biesla last season.

I do think the London factor is becoming more prevalent at least for us rising up the table and having Ogbonna and Byram choosing to join us instead of Everton for instance.

May leave? That's not what you said in any of those posts I quoted. :)

London certainly helps. It's a destination city that's for sure.

Didn't you just complain about name calling?

Or is that me paraphrasing and you really meant something else?

A lot can happen in football.
How can you say this and then completely write off Leicester next season?

I guess the big boys will all recover and it'll be like 1991 all over again?

I pointed out that you resorting to insults was a sign you were aware you were losing, you are correct. That was in a post that contained no substance. I used the term to indicate what the rest of the board is thinking while reading this thread while also posting substance.

You returned fire in absolutes saying it simply wont happen.

So. Many. Absolutes.

Ah so now you admit you were speaking in absolutes? :) That's a quick about-face!

Don't tell me you're surprised. Belittles most clubs. Has done it to Hull and does it relentlessly to Spurs. The latter they can't keep up with either. :)

Could happen.

If Bale came back to England, where do you think Spurs would be in the pecking order?
Levy would never sell a star to a league rival again.

He learnt his lesson with Berbatov and made sure he didn't make the same mistake with Modric when Chelski came sniffing around for him a year before he left for Real Madrid.

Bale is a global brand now, we won't be able to afford his wages until he is well into his 30s. However, we do have first option on him if he does come back by 2017 or 18 IIRC.

It's City or Utd imo if he ever comes back to England.

No I didn't haha. I disagreed they were certain to leave, as you said, if they were offered money from a big club.

All my comments were based on your absolutes haha. If you'd just used 'may' from the start, I would have agreed with you.

The big boys will definitely recover yes. Chelsea will buy large in the summer and have an excellent manager coming in. Double the money Chelsea will spend to what City is gonna outlay and double how good a manager they have coming in. Arsenal always finish top four.

Klopp will have had plenty of time to assess the players and will have brought in some of his own players. United will probably be rid of LvG and if rumours hold they are bringing in probably the best manager in the world and they too will spend.

Leicester wont be repeating as champions. But I sure as shit hope they win it this year. What a story.

If he were to come back in his current contract. First in the queue. Have a first-refusal clause in the contract.

it'd just mean that other clubs would have to overspend to get him, to price us out.

I fully believe if big clubs come in for Leicesters players they will leave. It's not certain big clubs will though.

Nothing wrong with having an opinion and discussing whether or not Leicester can hold onto their best players.

But you of course wade in and do your thing. We all put up with it and then we move on. Such if life.
