Boxing May 2nd - Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao

So far 32 class actions have been launched over Pacquiao going into the bout injured.

One can only wonder how many fighters have gone into fights carrying an injury or three. It's a contact sport and injuries are part and parcel of it. Sparring injuries in the weeks leading up to a fight are more common than not.

How many AFL footballers for example, go into each game 100% fit and totally injury free? Very few I'd suggest, and by the end of the season most need end of season surgeries of one kind or another.

A lot of them are by fans wanting their money back.

They probably should read the fine print on their ticket regarding the conditions of purchases before they get too excited.

I've seen opponents changed last minute, fighters not make weight and therefore titles no longer on the line etc, and there's very often no consideration, if any, afforded by the promoter to refunds for the fans.

lol
If this happened Floyd could be bankrupt within the year...

You can see by the what rounds have been scored to each fighter that they clearly put the score under the fighter not the colour like any normal person would.
Mayweather clearly won the first few rounds pacquiao clearly won round 4. under there names it has them winning those rounds.
Mayweather clearly won, I hate the guy but its obvious.

Are they getting a refund?
Really anyone who considers themself a fan should have known there was a big chance the fight would be the way it was, it's there own fault for pretending to be fans of the sport.
It's like going to a rock concert and asking for a refund because you like rap music.
Or going to see a movie and asking for your money back because you didnt enjoy it.

As above, they probably should read the fine print on their tickets regarding conditions of purchase before they get too excited. Promoters who put on events this big are pretty good at covering their's and the performer's arses.

The fight inside the ring is over. But inevitably one has been raging outside the ring ever since.
Obviously Floyd sucked in more suckers than Manny on this "fight of the century"...
