Rooch is my bet. Close friend had the dinner, there has been angst with CM and injuries and the season overall, like a normal workplace according to the player. It jasn't been all smiles and giggles but it was argued the entire club is upset as to the season overall. It might depend on who is spreading the rumour. If it was a family member or something would explain a few things
Other suspects:
Rooch
Lever
Unfortunately while they are having a go at us no one is mentoring the inequalities of their VFL competition. It’s really just open season on us and these campaigners are never held to account so they can just tee off on us.
Why hasn’t the AFLPA received a complaint? If the allegations are true there are traumatised players not being treated properly. They should be all over this. So why aren’t they?
Either they aren't traumatized, or they spoke to the AFLPA in privateWhy hasn’t the AFLPA received a complaint? If the allegations are true there are traumatised players not being treated properly. They should be all over this. So why aren’t they?
Can or would the AFLPA even publicly comment if they had received a complaint?Either they aren't traumatized, or they spoke to the AFLPA in private
I know they're not qualified psychologists or psychiatrists. I know we confirmed some players didn't like some aspects of the last camp.
Michelangelo Ricci, who blames the crows for losing his position at the advertiser, works for CROCMEDIA. So does sam mcclure, damien barret, craig hutchingson, kane cornes and caroline wilson. All the "journalists" that have come out with negative stories about the crows since the grand final.Direct from a senior player this week over dinner and drinks, the McGovern out and other rumours are an active anti Crows campaign. The club and players know who is spreading the rumours and its a case of sour grapes.
Can anyone think of a person with media links who has been anti Crows?
According to player Mitch is going no where
Surely the union wouldn't air workplace grievances publiclyBecause no one's traumatised.
If true, this club could be scarred for ten or twenty years.Just for posterity:

I’d like to think I am not part of the “everything is peachy and smelling like roses” group where the club can not do anything wrong but I’m not sitting in the burn the club down brigade either and start again group either. I’m sitting somewhere in the middle but Brett Burton must go ASAP.
This is terrifying someone has this contract within the 4 walls of the club.
But I was talking to a family member of a current player and this is the information I received was...
- Up to 8 players will seek a trade at the end of the season.
- Brad Crouch: in January this year, his manager got in touch with Simon Black on how to deal with his current groin injury. He had same injury during his playing days. His advice was to have surgery right away and he will be back playing by the bye but Brett Burton said NO. During a meeting about 2 months ago, he said under no circumstances was he (Brad) going to have any surgery and just needed to wait. Up to this day, he is still against it. During this meeting, Brad Crouch had to be pull off Brett Burton as he was going to king hit him. He told the club to “go and get ******” and had the surgery against the advice of the club. Will ask for a trade. Watch this space.
- If as expected Brad goes, Matt Crouch will not be far behind.
- Riley Knight: He is a 4th year player. When the first year to fourth year players returned to pre season training last year, he was forced to do every session. As we now know, he had an ankle and hamstring injury. He returned in round 2 or 3 and was given medical advice to be on a restricted program, was told to only play 80% of game time and have a 60% training program. Brett Burton insisted he play over 90% of game time due to the growing injury list and he must do 100% training. His hamstring tendonitis flailed up and he has not been seen since. Every chance he doesn’t play this year. Will ask for a trade.
- Mitch McGovern rumour is 100% correct. Was forced to say over and over again his dad’s was a bad parent and his football career neglected him and Jeremy when they were kids and his football career was a waste of time. Will ask for a trade.
- They were told to start lifting way too heavy weights from day 1 of pre season, no wonder hamstrings are pinging off the bones.
- Will try and get some information on the Collective Minds stuff but neglected to ask as I was left flabbergasted by the Brad Crouch news.
It’s not trueJust for posterity:

You know that BigFooty posters could run the club better, I'll say that again, BIGFOOTY posters?
You're like some union officials and employees that think they know how to run a company but would actually completely destroy it in less than 6 months.
BigFooty is a joke to the club, and it's because 80% of the posts and demands are completely ridiculous.
It’s like me saying I have been quite involved in corporate training - not just attending but designing and running them. It just means we might have a better understanding of usual practice within these scenarios.I don't actually.see how it was relevant.
Yeah I cant recall too much going on. There was some whispering about 'lost the players' but only minor. Its odd that for a club that 'stopped the leaks'' seems to be leaking like a sieve at the moment . Seems to beBut suddenly Ricciuto was coming in from outside to save the club. Players had gone to him, we were heading for serious problems etc. The truth that eventually emerged was terrible. None of it had made it into the public domain, bar a few unsubstantiated whispers.
And this is the other side of the conspiracy. Not sure why you put journalists in quotation marks. Apart from Firefighter they all are. Did they all sit down sipping frappes on a Sunday afternoon and had directives to start slagging off the club?Michelangelo Ricci, who blames the crows for losing his position at the advertiser, works for CROCMEDIA. So does sam mcclure, damien barret, craig hutchingson, kane cornes and caroline wilson. All the "journalists" that have come out with negative stories about the crows since the grand final.
I don’t think so. I think it has been quite hysterical. You're intentionally misrepresenting the feeling of the board to make a misguided point.

If he was with us, he'd probably not have a functioning hamstring at this Rate anyway haha. He'd prob be a star by now if drafted by a team like yours, hawthorn, Sydney etc
We wouldn't be the best no, but I think he could improve with us more than staying at saints.
The biggest problem I have with this claim about Mitch McGovern that has been written above is that the camp was at the start of this year.. if this is true and he was forced to say this over and over then he would rightly be pissed about it and rightly still be pissed about it now...
But just over a month ago when interviewed he said;
“He cheekily said he would love to make it a McGovern double act at West Lakes.
"It would be very nice to play with him," Mitch said.
"I've been in his ear, but I'm not too sure what he's going to do."
http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-07/brother-a-smart-man-in-holding-off-on-signature#/
Doesn’t sound like something someone that hates the club and the camp at the start of the year would say... in fact he said he’s been in his brothers ear trying to encourage him to come to West lakes..
Would you really be jovially saying stuff like this if you were unhappy and wanted out?... you’d flat out say “nah, I doubt he’ll be coming to adelaide” if you were that pissed off with the club and wanting out yourself..
Agree with all of this except the last sentence. The AFC has to be bigger than that . Supporters are passionate and a club ( or business) that treats supporters ( or customers) with contempt is always on the wrong track. Big footy , like any forum , will be made up of a broad spectrum of supporters. The afc does not work hard enough to take seriously the concerns raised here which leads to much of the rumour mill. You would know as a ceo that you must treat your key stakeholders with respect regardless....I speak as a cfo of a $40 million business.
