Encouraging the AFC to sue the AFL is not a good move as it is bound to ruffle the feathers in AFL House and that is the last thing any interstate club should want. In any case Griffen possibly has no idea what is in the licence agreements signed by the interstate clubs so maybe Griffen should stick to soccer.

I seem to remember when it was suggested that Port sue the AFL and Collingwood over the right to wear out PB guernsey the informed opinion was we could not do it because of the caveats in our licence agreement but maybe there is a loophole.

It has reached the stage where if the media want to beat up a story they make a bee line for Griffen's door.
