Melbourne priority pick

Regardless of what you need, you deserve a PP. If you don't given your performances for 5 years, why have the PP system at all?
watcha talking bout Willis?
In the 5 years prior to the current one they've only won 4 or 5 games less than Port yet they got a swag of top picks.
For crying out loud, enough is enough. Get them to fix up their off field shit first.

You said that everything on my list was directly the fault of the MFC. I asked you to prove it, knowing full well you can't, now you're saying my attitude is the problem? Then you show a complete lack of understanding of our fixture (something you could just google!).

Here you go mister, have a read of this and tell me your sponsorship drama's are not of your clubs own making ....

Also as for the draw, get over it! We all know the draw is not fair and there are plenty of other clubs that have had an equally difficult draw as Melbourne but they have tried to make it work for them buy looking at alternate options and make the most out of bad situation.

Port made a grand final in 07. As you say, Port have also won more games than Melbourne over the previous years. They have also won considerably more games than Melbourne this season.

In the first 5 rounds of this season Port won as many games as melbourne have in 33ish.

The AFL is not looking to give Melbourne a PP last year, nor the year before that, but rather this year.

They'll have their "formular" but we all know that they can go back 5 years, and 3 coaches and the best Melbourne will have done is 8.5 wins in a season which included a 31 goal loss.

I think that the AFL will take the stance that the off field is being taken care of/improved as we speak and that any on field improvement will likely aid that, rather than just waiting for one to be proven to have improved without caring about the other.

They tanked to get themselves into this position and should of lost draft picks but you want to give them more?

Also they have enough 'young' talent what they need is to develop that talent and get a few senior players with strong work ethic and team ethos.

You said everything in that time was our fault. This is false.

And again you don't understand exactly how badly the fixture effects the Demons.

Not false its the truth and you are just in denial. That article is just further proof of the total miss management of all aspects of the Melbourne Football Club both on and off the field. MFC employed its management, MFC did the sponsor deals, MFC hired coaches, football & development staff, MFC traded players, MFC drafted players, MFC choose to exploit the draft and subsequently be found guilty of bring the game into disrepute and in doing so introduced a culture where losing, mediocracy and failure is acceptable and rewarded. This my friend is exactly why the MFC is 100% responsible for the situation that it now finds itself in.

In terms of the fixture there is nothing to understand, whilst it is not fair it certainly does not adversely affect Melbourne significantly more than any other club, as I said at least other clubs are willing to try alternate things overcome adverse effects of the draw.

They have had a prolonged bottom out because of 3 compromised drafts. People forget that GWS and GC had their zone selections too. This included guys like dixon, smith, cameron, sheils ....the latter two were touted at top 5 picks in their draft year.

Melbourne is a basket case on and off field. Their bottom out would probably have been cut short by a couple years if the compromised drafts had not happened. Similarly port spent longer than they probably should have down there - however they haven't had as much drama to deal with.

Yes they do deserve a priority pick. The picks they have had are even worse than their draft number suggests. A team finishing basically last deserves a top 2 pick. Not around 10 when you include mini drafts and zone selections and all that crap.

So how did we cause our sponsor to be a racist?

So how did we cause our sponsor to be a racist?

Don't use semantics in your defence seriously, had the previously deal not been stuffed up you wouldn't had to deal with 'that' sponsor, anyway if I want to use semantics like you why did you not not do proper due diligence to ensure you weren't dealing with a 'racist'.

Other clubs should not have to suffer in the draft to help Melbourne

You do know how a socialist environment works yeah? Those who can afford to give, give what they can, and those who need to take, take what they need.

This is how the AFL is run. Deal with it. It is why we have a better competition than the EPL, NBA, and NFL.

What existing evidence was there that he was a racist?

Only using same logic that he is using

No yours is different. You are asking him to prove that something wasn't the case. That is different from proving something is.

It's like saying prove that Big Foot doesn't exist. How do you do it? Do we simply assume that just because I cannot prove he exists that he doesn't? No, there is noway that such conclusion can be made from a failure to prove.
