Our momentum is slowing.

We have gone from being 10% ahead of the 2009 figures (according to the PAFC) to now being line ball - about 100 under.

Hoping for a surge from the automatic renewals.

The automatic renewals happened earlier last year. I'm pretty sure we are still ahead 10% ahead of last year. Haysman mentioned it last week.

I just got a small payrise at work - I used it to buy 5 memberships for people who are port fans but don't go often, hoping they will enjoy it and convince them to sign up next year

That is indicative of the off-field wins this pre-season and the real benefits of the Pickard marketing sponsorship from last year.

Congratulations - that is the essence of being a real PAFC supporter and not just a barracker.:thumbsu:

Think how many more members we would have by now if we had shown true strength and balls over the captaincy issue.

Given up the membership strike and fixed up the renewals for myself and my crow following wife

Don't worry, will never, ever, sign up with the dirtbags at West Lakes.

I'm waiting for the $$$$$, so I won't be doing it until March. But at least my Crow supporting son has changed his mind and wants membership again after watching his Crowies get pummelled :)

Am hoping to get an additional membership this year also for my sister as her 50th birthday present - I figured she likes the footy & does barrack for Port, but can't afford it.

So why not get her a footy membership!

Just think if every member managed to sign up one other new person to be a member...

If we go deep into the NAB cup, we may be able to generate some HYPE and help boost our membership numbers.

We've managed to take some shine off our HYPE-aholic neighbours so maybe we'll get a double boost...

Does that figure include SANFL cat 1 and 3 members ???
Nah, not that im aware of.

Port Adelaide Football Club Ticketed Memberships only (Doesnt include non-ticketed)

AAMI Cat 1 & Cat 3 as renewals closed end January. So it would be interesting to see if the figures did include it. Didn't Rucci have an article about people waiting for the new stadium & not renewing at their normal rate (I for one did this but took outer seating instead).

Don't know. Do they include the Footy Park members as they come in or do they do it in one go once all the members have signed up? Also do they just include those that nominate as Port (or Crow) members? I'm sure there are those in category 1 who don't nominate anyone. Do these guys get divied up or not counted at all?

I have 2 cat 1 and both Port supporters but we split with Crows supporters pretty sure membership tally's get 1 each added. Be interesting, Rucci didn't mention the SANFL tried to rape the members more by trying to force anyone who wanted to sit upstairs a 120 dollar min premium on top of their renewal to reserve a seat as they claim "the people asked for it, so we are giving it". What ****wit would ask to pay more to go to the footy, damn I hate the SANFL. They've taken the Port reserved bays down to 4 now from lack of demand (fancy that). It's clearly another case of if we do it to crows supporters (who would have requested it) we have to do it to Port supporters (SANFL **** OFF). Anyway this put off already some people I know from even renewing a ticket, my Dad cracked it, he's never missed a Port season now just going to get casual passes.

I have bought a few extra m'ships this year... Im sick of hearing join the magpies .. but no join the power! I for one want the power to prosper! ... My work even had a special deal (as they are a major sponsor of the AFL) concerning AFL silver M'ship with power club support ($130 goes to PAFC as well as being counted in M'ship numbers) So I bought one even though I Have 2 Platinum adult M'ships as well as 3 Planet teal M'ships.. Im constantly telling fellow power supporters to get off their behinds and support the PAFC!:thumbsu:

I thought it might be a cool idea, for those of us who want to help the club re memberships to purchase a membership ticket, but have this in some form of 'Port Pool' which gets shared throughout SA Charities each week.

For example, I might buy a 'Charity Membership' each year for $150, this ticket goes into a group of say 50 other Memberships (Purchased by other members) which is allocated each week to a charity (The less fortunate, Mentally or Physically disabled children etc) who are able to attend the game in a big group.

Increases membership, increases attendance, increase our community value and allows our members to feel good about themselves and our club.
