Posters on the Collingwood forum are posting that they have just started receiving their confirmation emails from ticketek. That would make it just after 9.00 their time so we should start expecting them soon.

Yes that would be correct, ticketek would have just opened over here.

Long time reader, first time poster.

Just been confirmed that I missed out on the members' ballot. If anyone here has any spare for the GF, please let me know.

Ideally looking for one or two tix - for me and a friend who is coming over from the UK for this. Any help much appreciated!

Up the Coasters!

On the Ticketek home page there are now lists for unsuccessful and successful members in the ballot for both WCE and Pies. Not that it helps much, most of us know if we were charged $$ we have tickets.

I guess it makes sense they'd get their emails before us. Ticketek have had an extra day to process the Collingwood tickets.

I have it showing as a charge on my credit card, be stuffed if i know how to find my No on the list.

Interesting on the ticketek site - there’s less than one page of unsuccessful Collingwood members

And 15 pages of unsuccessful eagles members

Highlighting how many more avenues to tickets Melbourne based club supporters have (afl/mcc etc)
Might also be an indication that Collingwod have tighter priority groups. It's based on membership years.

Eagles priority 2 group is massive.

I found my number on the confirmation email I got when I paid the $5 and registered for the ballot. Looks like I've got a ticket even though my credit card was hacked and blocked overnight right after the purchase.

Collingwood also have a longer list of successful members :/
Which makes me wonder if they were allocate more seats than we were
Despite us having 5k more members

Thanks to you i just checked my confirmation order and found mine can breathe now :)

Could be influenced by WCE members submitting bigger groups of barcodes? Friends travelling together etc... just a thought.

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Could well be . I submitted small groups (2 together then 1 solo), and even if I had more barcodes , I would’ve stilldone it in small groups to maximise the chances due to the /all or nothing system .

Also I searched for my account number on the unsuccessful list and it didn’t show up , so checked the successful list again . Lo and behold - has shown up twice!!! Thought there was a mistake but checked my credit card account just in case and sure enough - a new $250 debit from Ticketek has appeared  (which definitely wasn’t there when I last checked yesterday)

Hoping this means I may be able to surprise a friend (who was still searching as of 10pm last night ) . In the off chance they’re sorted, I’ll post again and sell it at face value on here .

Don’t think that’s the case - might be they’ve been bought in smaller parcels
If that’s the case then it’s probably also true that even fewer of their members missed out, and that even more of hours did

52 pages of successful ballots, 14 pages of unsuccessful ballots.

Myself, my cousin and the mate we were relying upon for spares were all unsuccessful. What are the odds?

Devastated.

Really feel for you , but difficult to know what the odds are without knowing how many of those 52 pages were P1 and how many were P2. Also having the number of tickets attached to each successful /unsuccessful entry would’ve helped . Out of interest , how many codes did the three of you put through in each of those transactions? Were they solo ones ?

There are still plenty of packages available (seen the same posters post over and over again ) , mostly from Richmond supporters who got in early . Also hope you have luck at tomorrow’s eagles members’ resale .
