Keeps picking Menzie, Perkins and Heppell even though they offer nothing every week. Brings Wright straight back in and once again he does nothing. Not blooding enough kids in what is supposed to be a development year.

I've avoided jumping on this train for a while thinking things would come good but it was clear on Thursday night it would be a mighty ask for the selected team to bounce back.

Brad will need an attitide adjustment one way or another.

I’d probably give him a few years to recruit the type of players that suit him and give him a chance to stamp out the Essington culture but by all means go off half cocked

But he's not taking the youth path, and shows no sign of doing it, that's the problem. What's the point of doing it with only a few games left? What a waste of a season.

I do think the youth thing has been overstated. He played Hobbs until he got injured, ditto Reid. Davey got a decent block of games to give him AFL exposure. Caddy got games as soon as he strung a few good VFL performances together. Bryan got a game and wasn’t great.

Meanwhile Shiel spent months toiling away, and you’d think Setterfield would slot straight in if there was a ‘no yoof’ policy.

Hayes and Roberts are hard done by but they also may have been given specific things to work on before they’re considered for selection.

Lual, J Davey, Visentini and Wanganeen are clearly not at the level yet and would be thrown to the wolves.

Has had some selection shockers in the last 4 weeks but the list is also what it is . 80% of it is from before the current football department leaders time .
He has cost us some games but he is also working with a bunch of very dumb footballers and a list that is so out of whack it is not funny.

Dumb footballer from a draft that played no top age football.
They tried to get him in the midfield and get some sort of defence in his game but he really is the most loose dude in the South East.
Ca not defend to the point that it confuses the **** out of him to do the most basic stuff.

You don't fix a fragile list by coddling them though. Results don't matter if you are genuinely building something. No one knows what the **** Essendon is building. We just praying for a miracle for certain players to click, despite showing for years they aren't capable.

So you rate our recruiting from the last 10 years then ?
No one knows what we are building because the list is so devoid of smart footballers and leadership it is not funny.
Yes he has made some dumb selections but we are really only talking about maybe 3 young players who have shown consistency in the VFL that have not got a game .
Bryan / Roberts / Hayes .
If that is the extent of players pushing for selection then it says a lot .
