Ok let's see
Did he play back on us?
Don't know.16 games in 2013 not too bad
Injury riddled with rest of the bombers, let's see .
We could do worse.
Go for it.

No idea what's been said on Herald Sun sorry. You hear a lot of things this time of season. Truth be known, I haven't been on this site for several years. Maybe 5.. But thought I'd let you know. I have no idea re: his contract position, just what I've heard.

I have no idea what the bombers would want, but cats are resting the waters for him. Geelong will land a big player before trade week is out.
Pretty sure they would demand A grader off us. But hey, it actually makes sense to me just trading for our first pick, the guy after several years isn't exactly a superstar, essendon are extremely desperate to get into the first round of the draft.

And secondly, no they couldn't get the number 1 or 2 pick for Hurley, Melbourne want mature midfielders not Hurley, and why on earth would gws trade tom Boyd for Michael Hurley?! This may well be unders for Hurley, but long term may be the best option for the club getting back into the first round

Hurley hurt way too much for mine. Bad hammy, bad wrist.
Massively inconsistent on the field. And the bombers would want sel, bundy, and pick 15 this year and next.
No thanks.

Go Catters

Don't know where this came from. Think Hurley is severely overrated at this stage of his career, not interested.

Interesting hearing Terry Wallace and Damian Barrett on trade radio yesterday. Basically said that Essendon have developed a habit of coming into trade discussions between two other clubs when there is no need for them to and just cause other clubs a headache, along with their driving of ridiculously hard bargains. Both reckon clubs avoid dealing with them when possible nowadays.
Not the first time this has been said. They really tried to screw us on the deal with Pismall. Backfired big time when we picked up Motlop with that pick. :thumbsu:

I find you amusing purring but hope Hurley is not the 'big fish' people are talking about us landing

I would rather offer pick 15 for Crameri who is a better player than Hurley.
It would be a good get for the doggies if they manage to snare Crameri-I agree with you, he can play :thumbsu:

No way. Injury prone and somewhat over rated IMO.

Would cost too much money nd the trade would cost us as well.

Bring on the end of trade "3 weeks"

Gotta admit it is kind of amusing in its own strange way.

As always to land a "big fish" you need a big lure/bait curious as to who may
actually be on the table if all the talk is correct.

I think the Cats (trade period) are like a duck all cool above the water but working madly underneath.

I don't think either team would give up a top two pick for Hurley, but he would be a good fit for both teams, if they could trade down to a pick around the 4-7 range. He's a natural defender, which both Melbourne and GWS could use. He just hasn't been able to establish himself there, because it's much more important to give Dustin Fletcher an armchair ride to 400 games.

We may as well talk about Hurley in general terms, since there's no chance in hell he's coming to Geelong.

Yep, this is why no one wants to deal with the bombers. Now, due to losing picks in the draft, they want clubs to help them out. Hilarious considering how they too tried to good the league to ransom.

Not interested in a player who struggled to get on the park and may have a suspension hanging over his head in the bear future
