Pretty sure someone on the podcast is a Freo supporter too, kind of needed in this town if they want to try and draw viewers from our side, WCE could be down for a little while here, will be much harder to pull in new WCE fans

Tell you what, I had never realised what a great resource the Docker TV channel on youtube was until now.

I'm not one who has any interest in listening to player or coach interviews so I've never really tried to seek out much media beyond the games, but I didn't realise they had all those Freo clips from the various footy shows compiled on there, it's fantastic! Subscribed and bookmarked to check every night now!

Was there one cliché in that ?
He is very impressive.
I find him pretty easy to watch and listen to.
Maybe we have to let the dislike for their past players go. Some are not evil you know. Just because they played for the dark side, doesn't make them unlikeable. Well some for sure, but not all.

Got to give props to Freo's media team who have upped their game... really been great with their posts on instagram, twitter etc

For context, I remember in 2016 I was lucky enough to be at the AFL season launch at Etihad where I was amongst other Freo fans representing our club. I was excited to see our clubs coverage of this but there was hardly anything there on the website vs other clubs that promoted it really well. At least I got to meet the great man in Barra! 😊

What’s the thoughts of Freo supporters for your best Midfield ensemble?

Does Will Brodie have a spot if Fyfe is in the side? Does he just drop down the rotations?

Does Fyfe play the Dusty role? Starts Center Bounce and runs forward, swapping with Brodie who takes around the ground stoppages?

Or, does Fyfe just pinch hit in the middle and spend majority of time forward?

Huge, huge, huge in. Laughably underrated in. Easily best challenge to Melbourne.

I am not into Twitter or instagram , but do love how our club uses the FB page to give us real time updates. Most of the time.
Being an old fuddy duddy, I have no idea how the first two work, but my aged brain has grasped the concept of FB.Well almost.:think:

I’d hope Fyfes return will be closest to your option 2. Playing a mix of inside and outside with some stints forward to keep opposition key defenders on their toes every now and then

Poses a really interesting question because midfield balance can be such a key component to a team, to get it wrong coming into the back half of the year, it would be quite deflating.

My best guess is Brodie and Mundy's tog% will drop a little and both of them will spend time rotating through half forward, but Brodie will keep doing the mainstay of grunt work getting his hands dirty while Fyfe can play a more balanced inside/outside game in the guts. I reckon he also rotates forward like Mundy and Brodie but for larger stints to almost 'rest' there and keep his tog% in the high 70s.

And Tucker will be at Carlton 😁

Rather them be out now than against a good team
Club probably managing it in waves letting them catch it in clumps
Better to get it all out the way early in the season.
Of course it can be caught again, but for the majority of these guys it’s just a flu

Driz gets our third GOTY nomination for the year and we're only 7 games in! I reckon I can safely say that none of those shots would've been taken under our last coach, or if they were, they would've been canned for not centreing it. Great to see our forwards being backed in to take shots, use flair, and back themselves.
Who were the others?

Fair point. But if our rebuild was 6 years, as it looks like it was, then RTB did the first two thirds of it. Just sayin'.

Anyone listen to Hodgey on Whately? Said Fyfe should work on his leading patterns if he wants to get back in the 22. Plus, if he’s to get in the midfield he’s gotta embrace the system and be a two-way midfielder. It ain’t about getting 30+ possessions anymore.

Have to say I agree with him.

Oh and the Freo fan that called up 😂
You’re a god damn legend!
