Yeah, I just screen-shotted the tweet regarding the person being responsible for allowing Ed Langdon to "leave" and brought light to the fact that rather than comment positively on his progression as a player, and how wonderful it was that he was enjoying the ultimate success with Melbourne, Goosage found it a poignant moment to 'stick the boots' into Fremantle's list management! Of course, Langdon did not leave out of spite, so Goosage is (as normal) barking up the wrong freakin' tree. He really is a blight on the sports media landscape. He's what the Big Banana is to Coffs Harbour!

Been sitting on this post for a while but it’s time to unload!
Is Tim Gossage the most devious, spiteful little piece of shit in the Australian sporting media or what?
He’s been sniping away at freo on Twitter since the season started, and he’s doing it in a shady deceitful way too. You’ll see him throwing backhanded compliments through gritted teeth which are mixed in with plenty little digs at us. An example last week was him having a go at the club for letting Ed Langdon leave. There a heap of other examples too. It’s even more obvious when his beloved eagles are playing so shit at the same time.

He masks his love for the eagles and hate for the dockers quite cleverly too. You’ll see him pretending to be a saints fan any time any one pulls him up on the blatant barracking for the eagles.
Then with freo - any time anyone calls him out on his criticism of us over the last few weeks he points to his tip of us being a top 4 side before the season started. As of that makes him freos number one fan or something. Him tipping us to do well in the pre season set him up nicely. If we did well, he can still criticise us. If we do poorly, he can put the boot in completely. Win/win for him regardless.
An absolute arseh*le, the worst type of bottom feeder you could possibly have in the sports media. How on earth does this guy have a job at SEN? Is Hutchy just trolling WA sports fans or what?

That fixture along with Melbourne game was released 3 or 4 weeks ago when we haven't establish ourselves as true contenders.

Not that it makes much difference. AFL just love dumping the perth games to sunday twilight because the vic clubs wont get a crowd at 4:40pm on a sunday. When was the last MCG game in the sunday twilight timeslot.

But i think if the AFL was doing the fixture for Melbourne Fremantle this week it would have been the 7:30pm game on that Saturday night not the 4:45pm game.
