Are the FFC beginning to worry some of the Wise men from the East. Not saying Cornes is a wise man mind you. But at times and of recent times I have been relatively impressed by him.

That Cornes article gets me aroused, although I’m not entirely onboard his elite classification.

Quite liked last year’s and also when we brought back the original home jumper.
Gotta say though - thank god we no longer wear this piece of sh**e. As retro round I guess it’s so bad it’s good?
There’s another picture that also has Kickett, Burton and McManus. They all look happy to be there - Cox, Young and Logue all look like they’re thinking ‘why the **** are we wearing this’.

It’s an interesting question, what does it mean to owe a club? IMO once a club has won a premiership a player recruited on big money has paid his debt, eg Tom Boyd. All the criticism for his contract and he kicks three goals in a Bulldogs premiership. Debt paid.
One thought I have always had is that if a player wins a premiership with your club they become an effective “free agent” at the end of their contract (no six year wait time from drafting). Would strike a balance between those who think free agency should occur at the end of any contract after draft and those who think rebuilding clubs need protection while they build their list.

I was not into footy when this jumper was worn, so I don’t have any emotional attachment to it. As such, I find this to be one of the worst jumpers of any team of any sport in any country on any planet in any solar system. How someone would have created this is a mystery second only to how anyone would have said, upon seeing said jumper, “Yes! Great! Let’s go with that!” Lol. That’s cool some of y’all are excited about it, but it’s a hard pass for me.

I was in primary school when this guernsey was being worn and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It wasn't aimed at adults.
Mate, I was an immature adult ( still am) and loved this guernsey. I hope they bring back the container and anchor
