Tom Lee means that St. Kilda could play Beau Wilkes down back. St. Kilda won't be that desperate to get Brown now, he has minimal value.
He's still Beau Wilkes though.

i hope if we dont get brown he moves to CHB. thats where he won his rising star if im not mistakenSo does Koshitski go now?
For someone who has posted a large number of times on BF - you obviously have little understanding of both how trading works and inherent values of players.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you gave little thought to this post - cause if you were actually serious then I strongly suggest you give the game away
Clearly you haven't seen Beau Wilkes in defence
He's still Beau Wilkes though.
Yes, there really is.There isn't a great deal of difference b/w Wilkes the defender & Mitch Brown.
Kosi has a contract for 2013, nobody will trade for himSo does Koshitski go now?
Can't see that happening TBH, not mobile enoughi hope if we dont get brown he moves to CHB. thats where he won his rising star if im not mistaken
I'd imagine that means Brown doesn't go to St Kilda - unless your Compo pick is involved
Seriously doubt Saints were going to trade pick 12 for Brown - if they were, there is no way they'd have traded it for Lee
I kinda hope we keep him...sure. he'll be miffed, but all could be forgiven if Glass announces his retirement at the end of next year and he is stold he is a first up start from that point on. As mentioned, his girlfriend is a West Aussie who plays netball and can't just up and leave, he has established roots here, WC are closer to a premiership than St Kilda, one would think. So I won't be worried just yet that that he would leave for nothing next year.
Yup agree
Unless of course we then trade back our pick 17/18
Still I struggle to see a deal getting done. Had Brown been uncontracted - then a deal would be far more likley IMO
I definitely agree with this. The only reason I'm 60/40 a trade getting done is because WC might want to make room for someone who actually wants to be there - and seeing as (apparently) Woosha has told him that he's back of the queue for spots next year (which is apparently one of the main reasons he is looking for a trade) it's very possible that WC don't rate him as highly as everyone on here.
was average in the WAFL should be ok for saintsHe's still Beau Wilkes though.

Brown surely doesn't carry a lot of value. A knee reco and couldn't get into the side this year along with a string of other injury. I think he would be a decent get by St.Kilda if they snare him...but 2nd round pick at best. Perhaps now the Saints have picked up a few picks from the Lee trade they might have something to work with.
Ah, thanks, I didn't know the length of her contract. That would remove pretty much all the obstacles then because the season would pretty much be over come footy season next year. His girlfriend Shae Bolton is a melbourne girl who just happens to play netball for the West Coast Fever and recently signed a 1yr deal so its not like its a long term deal.
If he moves back to victoria I am sure she will be following once the netball season finishes.
Yeah they mentioned it in the sunday times a few weeks back and I thought it was interesting as I knew Brown was out of contract at the end of next season.Ah, thanks, I didn't know the length of her contract.
