You have Nathan Gordon down as a local pick for the Swans. He's actually on a scholarship so they wouldn't need to go down that route if they wanted him.

I'm confused by whether he's eligible or not, agewise, because he played some pretty good footy late in the season with the reserves team and has been training with them in the pre-season. Yet they haven't nominated him for a rookie spot.

The other two names you have down are probably highly likely picks - Frail and Breust. I also think there is a very good chance they will re-rookie Aaron Bruce, especially if Klemke is not available.

Your pick of Thornton for one rookie spot is probably also spot on. Plus I think the Swans have one more pick available (not evident from the lists published by the AFL) because Pyke is a non-Irish international rookie and therefore counts outside the normal quota.

Obviously it wont happen like this, because rookie drafts are almost impossibly to predict. But from a Fremantle point of view, it's really good. I'd love to get Gourdis, Milne and Richardson.

He is playing with Norwood in the SANFL, he's be more surprised than anyone if he got picked up in the Rookie draft,

Carlton have apparently promised both DArren Pfieffer and Sam Jacobs they will rookie them "if available". That being so they will need to choose one with their second last pick and the other with their last "if available", unless they go earlier. Assuming your mock was otherwise accurate Carlton would to honour their commitment have to go with Jacobs at least last pick. FWIW I ran through your mock picking for Carlton, essentiallly assuming that the picks otherwise went as identified but that the player you chose for Carlton at each pick was no longer around by next pick, and on a "best available basis" subject to taking Jacobs I came up with Carlton taking
