As with many I'm keen to learn more about the response to our injuries.
Also wish to know if club thinks we've gotten good value from Eade?
How can we build on strengths (eg developing youth) and improve in areas like developing senior players, getting more longevity (I'm borrowing some from Knightmare's ideas)
Are we benchmarking against other clubs? (AFL & international)
Why have we not made more use of Cat 2 (or is it Cat B) rookies when practically a free hit? (I understand with spending tax from next year it is less of a free hit).

Great Question. I'd love to hear the answer to this one if it ever sees the light of day. If they do answer it can someone please post the answer.
Because our veterans have declined far faster than expected, and none of our middle tier players have improved. Mixed with a strategy that was easily mimicked, it's pretty simple really.

* Match Day Experience. "A number of the recent additions to the match day experience have been quite intrusive/irritating in terms of volume (The Holden get loud thing) or contrived and silly (dance troupe, kiss cam). Given the extra costs associated with getting decent seats as a member, what are you doing to improve match day for members, rather than using them as a product to sell to advertisers? "
"

exactly this. I'd be more likely to attend a 100 point loss where I'm not yelled at by a Holden ad than sit through a full game of the insult to my intelligence that our home games were in 2014. I suspect this fan forum gesture is some backpedaling directly to do with this.

My other question is what will the outcome of the forum be? Will the club make a strategic plan or blueprint, or is the forum just being done to appear to involve members, so that they can say it has been done without any real intention of changing tracks, and therefore is it another insult to our intelligence?

You shouldn't need fans to tell you they don't like their loyalty being pimped to advertisers to the extent that Collingwood tried to get away with in 2014. If the CEO and Board don't know that they don't know anything, and should be replaced.

Which of the staff involved in fitness, injury prevention and rehab are willing to go on performance based contracts for next & future seasons?

Nil injuries might be a goal but isn't realistic but there must be improvement in overall number of injuries and in the fitness of individuals, with programs tailored to the number of preseasons players have done and the position they are intended to play.

OK table doesn't work?

Please explain the mismanagement of Ben Reid, Ben Sinclair, Nathan Freeman and Adam Oxley this year

Great work.
Dedication personified.

This post should be stickied in it's own thread..."2014 Prospects- What happened."

Why was there no banner in Sydney last night , also why did the cheer squad have no equipment.
Is this club broke ?
Last night was such a different experience, we looked like a struggling poor club not the all conquering rich power of the land collingwood.
There was no banner, 10,000 people at game.
The drop off in the ponsford stand has been remarkable aswell this year.
This club doesn't have army feel about it like it used to.
We once would roll into town whether we were winning or losing and we would always be the big show. Last night was like a second rate comp.

Why does the club insist on trawling through the bargain basement bins for recruits/FA's/recycled players?
Given the natural advantages we have in terms of size/financial strength/profile etc., shouldn't we be positioning the pies as a destination club? Can understand the reluctance to overpay (and inablility to match COLA $$) for high profile recruits like buddy, but a club like ours shouldn't have any probs selling itself to potential recruits, yet other clubs seem to be better at it.

You promised a review of all departments with a focus on our horrific injury toll this year and the high percentage of soft tissue occurrences.

Is it true that the review into Bill Davoren's position had been completed and he will continue in this role? This information was reported on the Sunday Footy Show the morning after we suffer another 2 soft tissue injuries. If so, were these additional injuries taken into consideration and why would we not wait until our season was over to commence and reportedly complete a review?

Is this true? The guy has destroyed our season.

My question would be about all the money we have supposedly invest in Collingwood media. Sure we get the occasional VFL broadcast and a few more videos but the rest is just a replica of what is on the AFL home page.
If you read the match report (on CFC) after a game, it is exactly the same as the AFL one. Most if not all the videos are the same.
If you exclude episodes of 'The Club', Blackmore's injury report, VFL reports and player interviews, may as well visit just AFL Home.
How much control do we have of our own site?

Do we have any plans to keep Luke Ball involved with CFC?

Could you define what (if anything) was viewed as a success on field this season? What was the goal if it wasn't to win a flag?

Why does it seem as if the coaching staff have no plan B when our game plan goes awry, particularly against certain teams (Hawks, Freo, Suns)?

Is 2015 another development year? If so, should a hold off on my Foxtel and membership financial commitments until I can actually see a comparable level of commitment from more than half a dozen players (out of 22) on the field on matchday?

Are you (Ed) and the coaching staff as disappointed about the way some games played out this season as we (the fans) are? Losses to Freo, Adelaide, Essendon, Western Bulldogs West Coast and Gold Coast in pasticular. The team and coaches looked lost in all those games and seemed to have no intensity or desire to actually compete.

Here's my list...

1. What steps are we taking to address our injury list? Why are we getting so many injuries when other clubs don't ?
2. Our D/E % is the 2nd worst in the AFL, what steps are we taking to improve this? Do we have a skills/kicking coach ?
3. Why are we (members/supporters ) be treated like fools with regards to injuries each Monday/Tuesday. Just tell us the truth - it's not that hard.
4. Why do we train so hard the day before games and then players get injured? Shouldn't these be light/skill sessions ?
5. On the game plan - Why do we insist on guarding space (ie zoning off) rather than playing man on man when the need is req'd ?
6. Why does my email inbox fill up each week with so much marketing stuff ? Shouldn't these resources being directed towards improving on-filed performance
7. What analysis are done by the recruiting team towards looking at bring in players that are out-contract and making our playing list stronger.
8. For 2015 what is the projected TPP spend on the 40 players in the squad ?

It's funny because the coach/club has said 25 times since the season has finished why they think the injuries have been bad.

Can you link these 25 articles?

I must have missed them...last I heard they were conducting a full review of the injury crisis.
