TIMELINE

Thursday 16 February:
Service revolver obtained for user pays event. Was stored at mother's as per regulations.

Sunday 19 February: User pays event.

Monday 20 February: The murders at Baird's Paddington rental.

Monday 19 February: Police have alleged gunshots were heard from a house in Paddington, Sydney in the morning. Four minutes after the first shots were fired there was a 000 call made from Jessie's phone around 9.45am, but it disconnected. Police said there was "no communication" during that call.

Monday evening: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon hired a white Hiace van from Sydney Airport.

Tuesday 20 February: Police have alleged that partial admissions were made by Lamarre-Condon to an acquaintance of having been involved in the death of two individuals.

Service revolver was returned to Balmain & later transferred to original storage.

Wednesday 21 February: Bloodied clothing belonging to both victims and an $8000 watch were found in a skip bin in the southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla. Police launch a missing persons investigation and the homicide unit is notified

Later same Wednesday: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon attended the Bungonia area with an acquaintance who police believed assisted him in purchasing an angle grinder and padlock from a local hardware store in that area, before driving to a rural property in Bungonia.

Police said the "small" angle grinder was used to sever a padlock from the gate of that particular rural property and then that padlock was replaced with a padlock purchased from the hardware store.

The acquaintance was left at the top of the property for 30 minutes. The accused disappeared for that period in the Hiace van, returning to pick up the acquaintance and then they returned to Sydney later that afternoon. Police said the acquaintance was assisting them in their inquiries, that she is not a suspect, and they believe she was an "innocent agent".

Wednesday 11pm: Police have said that evening, weights were purchased from a department store by the accused and it is believed that the accused returned to that rural property overnight and during that evening, having also acquired two torches from the acquaintance.

Thursday 22 February: Police have alleged they can place the accused leaving the Bungonia area again at 4.30am. "It would appear that the accused has remained in the city area, still in control of the white Hiace van, before attending a further acquaintance's premises in the Newcastle area and without fully disclosing any criminality, asked access to a hose to clean that van," Hudson said.

Friday 23 February: At 10.39am, Lamarre-Condon presents himself at Bondi Police Station where he was arrested and subsequently charged.

Some additional reporting late today that I think adds to the body of useful (and highly disturbing) info already posted in this thread.

'Not co-operating’: Killer cop suspect silent as search for bodies continues in double killing

By STEPHEN RICE and LIAM MENDE
5:51PM FEBRUARY 25, 2024
...
On Sunday a police source said Lamarre-Condon was refusing to co-operate with the police, as forensics officers again searched the Paddington home where they believe the couple were murdered on Monday.
...
Lamarre-Condon is Operation Support Group (OSG) trained, meaning he had completed additional training qualifying him to work user pay shifts which permit him to work extra shifts at events such as concerts or protests on top of normal shift work for extra pay.

...
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said the state government would consider any recommendations for more rigorous mental health assessments for police officers, following the tragedy
...
Police searched the Balmain home of Constable Lamarre-Condon’s mother and stepfather on Thursday night.
...'

That doesn't surprise me. Lamarre's probably been going in and out of that house for some time, creeping around, going through his things.

The press is trying to frame the relationship as a love triangle but it isn't that and their sexuality irrelevant. Lamarre's just another who couldn't handle rejection in Baird's new relationship and decided if he couldn't have Baird, nobody would.

That's what it looks like.

From your link:

Police suspect the alleged double homicide carries hallmarks of a domestic violence murder.

Wouldn't be surprised if the in-house stalker scared Jesse's housemates enough for them to have all moved out before the murders occurred.

Especially if they'd recognised Lemarre-Condon and knew he was a working Cop.

Wouldn't be surprised if some of his housemates worked in similar Industries to Jessie. (Pro Sports or Entertainment and Media).

Here's one of the dam's North of Goulburn.

I presume that the police have had time to process the white van and any GPS info from it to have changed to the new search site.

This is domestic violence at it's worst.

An unhinged self styled celebrity stalker with a badge and a gun who should have never been on the Police force with his red flags waving from the start.
I feel for the honest cops out there, who must be cringing at the nepotism and favour shown to this rotten apple.

Baird was asked to leave because of the mess he was making in the house. It was probably Lamarre doing it, going in when nobody was at home.

Stalkers do that kind of thing, they do it deliberately to control and weaken their target.

Often their target ends up feeling like they're going crazy. For example, the pets keep getting out and can't work out how, the back door is open in the morning but you know you locked it, come home and drawers are slightly open but you always close them, your towels are damp when you get home from work, suddenly there's no shampoo left but you thought it was full. Something you left on the kitchen bench the night before, you find on the stairs, underwear is going missing, your new silk shirt has a tear in the back, enter the house and it smells like aftershave you don't wear.

Things you can't really prove that someone else is responsible for.

Even all the text messages Lamarre sent to Baird, possibly gone given Lamarre had access to Baird's phone.

I really, really hope NSW Police have the awareness to stay the **** away from Mardi Gras next week, aside from some bare bones, plain clothes security.

Them marching would be such an awful look, and it will 100% create a really ugly flashpoint.

Given that he made a "career' out of celeb stalking no doubt he knew all the tricks.
I did read today that the housemates had already moved out of the house (on Readit can't get the quote as I didn't note it at the time)and it was obviously being wound up.
The fact that he is not co-operating with police as to telling them where there bodies are is stalling for time and making it hard, a stupid manouver.
But then this is obviously a stupid and evil person who only thinks about himself.
L obviously went from one relative to another either seeking help, to hide or whatever involving them all in his evil deed.

Or they left until they could be sure he was gone.

You can imagine the trouble a cop could cause his target with set ups. The housemates would be thinking 'Ever since Jesse moved in etc etc'.

If Lamarre was doing that, messing up the house leading up to the murders, apart from the obvious psychological impact that would have had on Baird...it also makes you wonder how long he had this planned for.

Particularly considering the texts he sent after the murders to Baird's housemates, pretending to be Jesse & telling them he was moving to Perth, asking them to leave the furniture out, etc.

What a total sicko.

THE AUSTRALIAN has updated their early evening article on this case and given it a new title and named the Marulan area related to the Goulburn region local dam search.

'Police establish crime scene in NSW Southern Tablelands in hunt for murder victims
8:20PM FEBRUARY 25, 2024

'As part of that search, believed to be in the Marulan area, divers from the Marine Area Command have been called in to search a local dam.'

Don’t understand why he doesn’t just tell the cops where the bodies are.

He wants them out there for as long as possible to destroy evidence of what happened to them before they died and how they died. If the bodies are in water, it will happen a lot faster to where a forensic pathologist may not even be able to find cause of death.

It's possible imo, that they weren't shot and Baird left the spent casing there so he can weave some kind of self defence narrative involving a struggle with his weapon. Or something like that ...

I would have thought a body (x2) in a dam would have been a difficult "weigh down" ?
What a current NSW policeman Lamarre considers as a "disposal site" might be very interesting.

e.g. Craig Puddy in Perth WA - murdered in his own home approx. May 2010 - Craig's body never found :(
Convicted man his ex business partner, Cameron James Mansell, 39 (at the time) - CJM's father was a cop and knew how to make a body disappear it was reported.

Craig's household bin was never located either - no bin - no body to this day.

Maybe Cameron Mansell will never get released - No Body No Parole !!
Maybe the same for this Lamarre !! - No Body x 2 No Parole for you mate !!

You’d have to be as dumb as a bucket of hammers to plan to kill someone you could easily be linked to with your own service weapon inside a house they rent from your mother. It makes more sense to plan to use it to gain control of a situation that then goes badly wrong. He probably had something more elaborate and personal in mind.

Interesting to see that the accused did his NSW Policy Academy Training in Goulburn 35km from the dam that is reportedly now being searched at Marulan.

PUBLISHED: 19:32 AEDT, 25 February 2024 | UPDATED: 20:44 AEDT, 25 February 2024
'Police confirmed a crime scene had been established at a dam near Marulan.
...
The dam is 35km from the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn, where Lamarre-Condon trained to become an officer before he joined the force in 2019.'
