Hehe, wise advice. Even at full strength I'd stay clear of punting against Melbourne. It's like looking at the sun, you know you want to but you shouldn't when these two play.

Really liked the performances of some of our younger guys - Ashby, Daniher, Dalgleish, Gleeson & Fantasia
Chappy, Zakka, & Cooney were solid, and BJ good after a slow start.

McKernan had a pretty good half. Held his own in the ruck and was far better at ground level than Giles. Liked his agression when he played the ball. Giles may have a contest for the no.2 ruck position which is a good thing.

I thought the same thing. A fit 2013 style bellchambers is an easy 1st but these two fighting for second means we should be able to make a good ruck combo.
