I feel like if we can even up the contested stuff it’ll be our game.

Dees know that if they get back quickly so we can’t get it to our half forwards in space we struggle to score.

We’re going OK fundamentally - just need to settle in general play and cut out giving it to a team mate under even more pressure - plus a bit of tidy up on the odd kick out of D50.

Ball use has been putrid and their rucks are killing us (I know Jacksons playing well as a mid, but that's a different story to the ruck battle).

Banfields such a weird one. He's been the most involved of the forwards by far ... but I'd really rather it be any of the others. Fumbles with the ball and makes 3/4 horrible decisions & skill errors for every great thing he does. Boy he does some nice things though.

Need to find a way to get the danger players through the game more. More of Freddy, Schultz , Clark would be great.
Need to compete far better in the air too!

May on Treacy is a good matchup that challenges Treacy - he needs to change his approach a little to stop allowing May to body him.

Not sure why we didn't use a mid like Erasmus or Brodie as a sub. They are both better than Sturt as Sturt won't be playing mid or getting back to defend.
