Thought I'd run this up the flagpole to see if anyone salutes it.

What is he now - 190cm - great mark. Reads the play. Could be a great CHF.

We would lose him in the midfield but with Mundy, Barlow, Hill, Mora, D Pearce, Crowley plus youngins like Neale and Sheridan coming through we could be well served in that area anyway.

Worth a thought?

Pretty much the reverse of Pav. Pav was a reasonably useful midfielder, but is a great key forward... and we need him there.

Fyfey could be a pretty reasonable key forward, but has proven he's a very good midfielder... and could become elite. He's definitely in our best 3 mids, and could be our best by the end of the season.

It's robbing Peter to pay Paul to have Fyfey at CHF with any regularity. Not bad as an option every now and then to shake things up, but he'll do a lot more damage running through the midfield and drifting forward occasionally.

I think Morabito has more potential at CHF. Basically the same size and weight as Pav - would need to learn how to use his body/strength like Pav does.

Midfielder going/resting forwards when needed will do.

Don't think there is much need to force him in the more physical role of a classical CHF. Probably a decent big body at CHF and him in his usual role will be better then otherwise. But really hope he can kick 30+ goals from the midfield. Would be handy...

A 192cm or so player, with awesome overhead marking, with the ability to kick a goal and run through the middle...

This concept is new to me...

Better used on ball where he is involved in more of the play.

Definitely think he should be used in the rotations in the forward line. If he can kick some bags he will become the most dangerous player in the league but I don't think he should be played as a full time forward.

Ultimately I see one of Fyfe and Morabito taking over CHF once Pav has retired.
The other would continue as a prominent midfielder.
Of course it all depends who we draft ; we may pick a good CHF or midfielder who is ready to move into these roles immediately.
As far as 2013 goes, i see it as business as usual for Fyfe but Morabito, I am sure will be eased back via HFF starting at the point of the centre square at bouncedowns. Once Mora is back to full strength and form, Nat could spend a lot more time at half forward.
