Yeah it's about the same level of not caring. ANB is a proven AFL player though so I expect a little more from him.Burgess
I can't remember caring less about a trade.

It's his age. Makes the whole trade basically pointless.6th in Melbournes B&F last year , top 10 the 2 years prior
And don’t cite Murphy!

Wow!!!Top 10 B&F last 3 years - 6 th last year. Averages 16 touches 5 tackles and 20 goals a year over the last 4 years.
Will be a good addition

Downsborough for Chalmers?I can't remember caring less about a trade.
20 goals? Where r u getting that stat from?
I'm sure he can get more than a possession or 2 in last quarters when the game is on the line...Wow!!!
Insert those stats into Murphy's role over the past four years and....we'd have pinched a few of those close games I reckon.
These are good stats. Comforting as "the buyer".
Well it's a large sample size so you might be rightHe is an upgrade on Murphy but his last game for the dees was a stinker. Hope that isn't a sign of a decline
Probably better to go by earlier year form. Might have been end of school year slacking.Well it's a large sample size so you might be right
Are you sure about that?Great news. Murphy can't possibly get a game now surely?
Cumming, Luko, Kosi, even Nicks couldn't muck this up
Just an observation turboWell it's a large sample size so you might be right

I realise he cameo'd through the middle a bit this season, but his clearance numbers either beat, or are right up there with all of our fwds/part time mids. Smashes Murphy, who I thought was supposed to be our extra man around the stoppage. Could probably take Lairds spot in our midfield if Nicks again bases it on games played next season.Last Four years he has
2024 - 9 Goals
2023 - 19 Goals
2022 - 9 Goals
2021 - 15 Goals
Thats not 20 goals a year average
2024 - 433 disposals from 23 games Av - 18.83
2023 - 387 disposals from 25 games Av- 15.48
2022 - 359 disposals from 23 games Ave - 15.60
2021 - 408 disposals from 25 games average -16.32
Average 16.56 over four years
So you are correct here
2024 - 117 Tackles from 23 games Av-5.08
2023 - 118 Tackles from 25 games Av - 4.72
2022 - 105 tackles from 23 games Av- 4.56
2021 - 111 tackles from 25 games Av - 4.44
Av = 4.7 over four years
20 goals? Where r u getting that stat from?
Didn't we trade him out... to Carlton no less.Or David Gallagher.
This trade gets a D from me. We have traded in a 29-year-old who will play in a peripheral position that we should be using to develop young players. If the plan is to replace Murphy with ABN, that D would become a C- but we know this will not happen given how fixated Nicks and his band of losers are on 0 goals Murph. It's his age. Makes the whole trade basically pointless.
Misread on the phone - was the frees against column. Averaging 13 goals a season for last 4 years!
Thanks for the pick up

I remember how excited we all were here when we "stole" Troy Menzel from Carlton.Hard to go past Angus Graham
