You’d want to be the major lease holder if you’re putting a $60-75 million facility onto a site.
This must be a non negotiable.

I wonder how Unit sales are going at the moment? I was under the impression there’s a bit of an exodus from high rise units in favour of bigger properties with Corona around. I know that price rises certainly haven’t been experienced in the unit market compared to houses.

Obviously Adelaide and Melbourne have experienced covid differently and I have no idea about buying apartments but in my own experience of renting in Melbourne, and having to move twice since covid, stand alone dwellings became increasingly difficult to rent with lots of people moving from apartments to bigger properties in the wake of repeated lockdowns
I reckon the thought of footy club and footy crowd would be a turn off.
But that's guessing
Town houses in the developments at Bowden, Tonsley, and Fletcher's Slip are selling just about as quickly as each batch is put up for off the plan sale. Lights View is already sold out.I wonder how Unit sales are going at the moment? I get Bowden but not lights view. That place sucks.
15 minutes is generous (more like 20). Maybe at 4am. Still not too bad but that's literally the only thing going for it. My friend bought there too and I hate going there. It's just a soulless place in a dead zone with poorly built boxes.It's a 15 minute drive from the city centre, half my office ended up buying in there to escape the rental trap. Bowden is nice, but just too expensive for the average Adelaide office worker. I'm struggling to afford Tonsley, the cheapest of the lot, albeit as a single rather than a couple.
Going by the number of Advertiser articles about the site I wouldn't be surprisedI wonder if any of these random sites will be leaked out today. Wouldn't be too hard to figure out when a large group is looking at a vacant block?

State of the art training facility i would have thought would be top of the list.There is no sight that will satisfy the majority of Crows supporters. The Wishlist across all supporters includes;
1) Walking distance from Adelaide Oval.
2) A “Shed” for post game celebrations.
3) Facilities for supporters to watch Crows training.
4) Capacity to hold closed doors training sessions.
5) Dining and drinking facilities for supporters.
6) Home ground for AFLW and SANFL teams.
Have I missed any others?
What sort of offices would SANFL be putting there? I would assume their head office would remain at Adelaide Oval.The SAAFL would just like new offices and hosting ability for their Grand Finals I'd imagine.
If this is to work well we have to be the head tenant.
Massive demand for hills property too, with Mitcham Hills, Stirling etc mostly selling on first open for record amounts. Even the bigger country towns are booming like never before.Yep, we don't agree on the Crouch's, but there's no doubt that there is a massive demand for near city property. Anyone arguing differen is a little demented.

I don't need a 'Shed'. Personally think those days are long gone. AFLW, SANFL, and Summer preseason games are essential in my thinking.There is no sight that will satisfy the majority of Crows supporters. The Wishlist across all supporters includes;

CHARLES Sturt Mayor Angela Evans says her council is disappointed about the scuttling of the Adelaide Football Club’s bid to redevelop the former Brompton Gasworks site for new headquarters.
The club’s plans for the inner-western Adelaide site had been developed after engaging with the council, she said, and reflected the community’s interests.
“We are disappointed for the Crows. They worked hard to prepare a bid that not only created a future for their club, but engaged with the City of Charles Sturt to create an opportunity for our community to grow and enjoy green open space,” Ms Evans told The Advertiser.
Ms Evans, also the Local Government Association president, welcomed the successful bidder, MAB Corporation, declaring the council looked forward to establishing a relationship and was “excited to support a vision for the site where people can live, work and visit in a way that enhances their lives”.
“Our role as a council is to represent our passion for our Charles Sturt community, the natural environment and the importance of shared-use, public open space, as well as integrating the existing unique elements and residents of Bowden with this new space,” she said.
"Disappointed" for us, but the chorus of cash register sounds from increased council rate revenue due to the high to medium density residential development on the site makes her happy.
Is that from the camp?
