News New Jumpers for 2015

It's a design, the AFL wouldn't block it because "this exact design is taken by another club". Richmond and essendon are largely the same from the front, do essendon then own that design because they had it first? What about all the clubs with vertical stripes? Who gets that design?

It's a silly argument. Not to mention, Hawthorn went a while with a plain back, how would it affect you if they reverted to that sometime in the future?

A plain backed AFL jumper and socks aren't Carltons.

You can't tell me that Port and Freo don't look eerily similar to Carlton now, from the back at least.

It says 2014/2015, and I think it has been released somewhere as the official.
Seems a bit late to release anything new.
I'd say it's more just a mistake on the shop and they have dropped the price so people buy it.

If you remove the main design element from nearly all clubs they become a 'one colour' club, which defeats the purpose of the definition.

in all terms though, i really hope we get a new clash, i might head down to tigerland superstore in the next few days and pick up the current clash for $50 and then get a new one if it comes out bloody bargain imo

That is truly an abortion of a jumper.

They should stay away from white, stay away from navy and just try and look like West Coast. I wonder why it's so hard for them? Maybe they need Eddie down there to bring in some branding discipline

Don't know if anyone noticed, but the 2013 clash jumper is priced at $65. The $50 clash is listed as 2014/15. Maybe $65 is a "hey, we want to get rid of these" sale for the '13s and the current clash is just a holiday sale price?

Clubs either get a new jumper for Christmas (which has basically come and gone in terms of potential sales) or just before the season when everyone's hyped up for footy.

I seriously doubt the Tigers will get a clash jumper, though, but it seems the inverse of occam's razor is being applied here!
