Carlton club president Luke Sayers was asked about the raised monogram in a club podcast that's been organised.

He's said with the way of the current AFL guernsey (e.g sublimation), it's not practically possible, so I guess we shouldn't expect any updates anytime soon 😔

Maybe we should have been more grateful to Nike for finding new ways to make it raised 🙁

I know isc are doing different ranges for male, female and kids, but will be interesting if with 18 clubs the afl allow clubs to do there own aflw merch deals in the future instead of using cotton on and new era for all clubs FC691481-E932-4F38-A1E3-407BAB23BF78.png

Is it a shame, really?
I think so. It's a clash jersey so it's meant to be distinct in colour to both the home and away kit which I think teal does. I understand the whole heritage argument but I feel like you can experiment more with your clash and away kits more than Port currently have.

I would assume that it would be coming very soon. It would be interesting to see if there will be any clubs that have different suppliers for the men's and women's teams when they start to have the choice.

Will also be interesting if clubs do the same apparel for mens and womens or will have different designs for each also would love to one day find out if geelong get special treatment with supply and also designs from cotton on for aflw having them also do the afl team over other clubs

Yeah, they finally nail it with the womens team and then don't bring it over to the mens!

Clueless
They wore the teal uniform from 2015 until 2017 for their preseason kit. The 2017 one looked the best, in my opinion with the black numbers. I wish all clubs would ditch the white clash uniforms, even Freo and The Bulldogs I think should use a red clash.

I know its been discussed before, but WC should find a way to deal with the eye detailing and have a solid blue eagle on their clash. Yellow on yellow looks very unbalanced
A blue eagle doesn't work with the current logo design though, and yeah been discussed a fair bit
