Sam Groth to miss the season due to a training incident. Shame was looking forward to watching him run around with the doggies!

Bundoora played Keilor today. All 3 sides looked pretty good, with a hell of a lot of quality not playing on the sidelines. Will be thereabouts at the pointy end again I think!

If Nahas gets to north heid as well and going by off season recruits nth could really push sides this year. Whitt will dead set be a 10 goal less side than everyone else, going to be a very even comp. Could boro finish second last? Have been very quiet this off season compared to everyone else.

He’d only be 5 points Wouldnt he? Didn’t play afl last year and now does Brent Harvey go down to 5 as well after one year of local footy? Plenty of room
Yeah perhaps, but you can add on the new recruits from coburg and qld and all of a sudden they are up to 22-25 points with 5 or 6 players. Would want to be 17 ex juniors left to play in the 1s. Plenty of room ? I'd say not

Bundoora
Northcote Park
Hurstbridge
Montmorency
North Heidelberg
Macleod
Heidelberg
West Preston
Greensborough
Whittlesea

I am probably going to be miles off but very confident with those 2 being at the top, and the bottom 2 being at the bottom.

One thing for sure is that the standard of Division 1 will be unbelievable this year.

Funnily enough that is identical to my ladder. Although I think West could finish above Heid. Both have been quiet on the recruiting front.

I just think everyone else has recruited heavily around them and will go past them. The only real recruit I have seen them attempt to get was a ruckman from Heidelbergs 2s. I think I read the clearance has been denied twice ?

They lost much? You maybe right but second last seems a to big of a drop, they have far too many gun players and a great coach to slip that far in my eyes.

Macleod will definately play finals and North won’t. Don’t underestimate the the jump from div 2 to div 1. They’d be happy to win 5-7 games and build on that. And I’m not sure about Mont and Hurstbridge either. A couple of great recruits each, but there bottom 6-8 players were very poor. I still think Bundoora, Northcote and Macleod will be a class above
