Final scores: Emerald 5.13. 43 - Hurstbridge 5.9.39

Saw NP last night against Banyule and reckon it will be a slip down the ladder this year for the Cougs.
Banyule smashed them at contested footy and at times beat them on the outside as well.
Certainly can’t see NP playing finals.

Yes, have to agree, they still have Starcevich and Close on the forward line, but no size anywhere else on the ground. Could get ugly next week against Bundoora.

North Heidelberg had a great hit out against WRFL strong club Spotswood yesterday, had about 5-6 starters out including S.Harvey whilst Boomer just ran around in the second half & others rested later in the game. Should be a quality first up opener against Macleod.

Two new players to club during off season throw in S Harvey plus the Tardio Bros who cut it up in Div 2 last season. A cast of 1000s in the squad let’s see what happens over next few weeks.
