Reading through this thread is depressing. I'm lucky that my bank card expired this year that I used for Gamepass last year so I don't get charged.

I still probably will end up getting it because I want a way to watch Jets games but going to wait till the last moment
 
Maybe they're doing some type of sever migration and it won't be complete and switched on until a few weeks before the season? Then we might see higher quality stream?

That's all I can really hope for at this point.

They have to queue on the lawsuits....I'm pursuing them on the "same service" offer which it clearly is not.

So the weekly subscription sounds OK, I could pick and choose where to use but I have a feeling will require a local payment method.

But they are rusted on the portability problem....I have no doubt now it is a technical constraint in their platform.


What is the DAZN contact email address? I can’t even get onto my account
 
Thanks guys managed to get hold of them; they got back to me pretty quickly and said they will cancel the auto-renew.

Will wait to read the reviews post week 1 to see if I will re-subscribe
 
after Being informed that I don’t have time or interest to keep the sub they confirmed it was escalated and cancelled and I’d see an email “within minutes”. (It’s been ten minutes at least and no email yet, Kept a copy of the chat transcript at least)
Several weeks ago I lost an hour of my life dealing with Cunz chat. They confirmed the auto-renew was turned off and I'd get an email. No email ever came but I did get a full transcript of the chat.

Yesterday I emailed them to tell them to delete my entire profile with them as I did not agree to my details transferring over etc etc.

They replied today saying they're disappointed that I want the auto-renew turned off and provided instructions how I could do it myself.

Given my linked Credit Card is cancelled I'm not worried but Cunz really deserves their new nickname. I wouldn't be confident that they are capable of actioning anything properly.

I dealt with them on the chat and recorded and emailed myself a copy of the chat transcript as evidence. I also disallowed the NFL payment in Paypal but haven't seen DAZN in there. I asked their chat support to email me confirmation the autorenew was cancelled and the account disabled but they said they don't send email confirmation (not sure why, this would seem a relatively simple and regulation thing to do) and that the chat transcript is the confirmation.

I then got an email a couple of days later following up my request that I'd logged before going on the chat (as the chat wasn't available the first time) and seeing how they could help. I just ignored the email as it's already dealt with as far as I'm concerned but seems they have shithouse IT that can't handle regulation account actions and doesn't communicate to see what has already been actioned on an account.

After a strong response they quickly replied apologizing, confirmed the auto-renew was off and asked me to confirm that I wanted my details deleted.

I confirmed that to be the request and they replied once to say it'd been actioned and then received another with:

"Thank you for contacting us.

As requested, we have deleted your account with email ____________ from our database.

We wish you all the best and hope to see you again in the future."

I just cancelled it myself and then emailed then to ask them to cancel for me. This was reply I got ..confirmed by them that’s it’s cancelled. Maybe try that and then have it in writing

Just got a feedback questionnaire emailed. Questions actually look like they understand they have issues..not the standard rate our service fluff.

Some questions from the survey:

What prevented, or affected your decision, to complete your sign up for a DAZN account/membership? Please select all that apply. (there were about a dozen answer options here ranging from "don't carry what I want to watch" through to "not sure of the membership terms"

It then drills down on the specific reason you gave and then asks for further details.

Another question on whether I watched events, leagues or just general sports content.

From the structure of the survey I think they have specific content/issues they wanted to get feedback on...maybe they are trying because the survey didn't feel like a self gratifying exercise.

Logged into gamepass to turn off auto renew, and see there is no option to do so.

So I need to contact DAZN to turn off auto renew? As I can't log into my account t after moving back to Australia from Brazil.

Might just remove card details from PayPal.

It's a stupid system where they don't just block you out of watching streams they block you out of your account altogether. And the only way to turn off autorenew is to login to your account 🙄
