North seem to have lost some core players in Bailey, Braendler, McKay, McGhie & Mapleson. They will get more from Majak & Liam Hunt, how many games does boomer play? Are they in a better position for depth than 2022?
That’s 5 of their top 30 players rated from 2022 however told
that maybe 3 would be in their best 22 in R1.

They have picked up another 8 or 9 who will
play seniors or extremely close so they are better than last season with depth of list.

Who are the 8 or 9 that will play seniors? I think they are a top 5 team fro sure.

Bell, Hunt, White, Whitnall, Brown (late start - knee), Daw (full season), Florance, Howden-Crhak (4 games 2022). Hamilton (Nth VFL 50/50), Baddeley-Kelly (Coburg - maybe a few games).
Tardio will be even a better player with Hunt along side him & there's some talent from the 19s in 2022 & this year knocking on the door.
Boomer still around & likely to play more games than the 6 last season.

Have height which they lacked last season & more depth in the mids.
They will be fit.

In racing terms - watch

Hunt is a gun. Bell goes ok. The other few new recruits aren't much to write home about. The rest played last year. Daw playing a full season will also help. They have lost some quality aswell.
I think they will be slightly better. But can't see them pushing the top teams

Drove past Banyule's ground this morning and the majority of the new turf has been laid. Promising signs to be ready on time

Thats good news.

Interested to see how they go as they have been a bit quieter on the recruiting front lately. They probably need to recruit one or two defenders as they conceded the most points out of any of the top sides in the second division last season.

I think they will be comfortable in division 1 this season though.

They’ve recruited 9 players. Agree they will be comfortable. They are 0 chance of relegation were probably a better side than Whittlesea last year.

Whittlesea are gone. Would be a miracle for them to stay up. Banyule are in that next bracket of teams like Hurstbridge and Macleod. They will be fine this year.

Greensy do you dirty back in the day Ebert?

hahaha was wondering when someone would notice.

No issue with Greensborough as a club at all, I just think its going a little under the radar how big of an exodus they have had. Not many clubs could tolerate losing this many players and maintain their ladder position.
