I believe the responsibility has been pushed back on the clubs to report any incidents during the game. I may be wrong.

No doubt, absolute stupidity.
Fridge42 crazy if it’s been pushed back onto the clubs, though not surprising if the league haven’t done that.
Either way, can’t blame the opposition club, only himself to blame, is 4 weeks excessive, probably, it only maybe a week or 2 with an extra week added for stupidity

How do you get the tribunal details with the NFL??? I have said it before on this forum the NFL are bloody hopeless......cant even update tribunal results each week for the average punter. They are the worse organised league by far EVERY other league updates tribunal results EVERY week. NFL updates when they feel like it....pathetic administration. So with that logic North "lagged" the Whittlesea player who got a week off the back of a tackle where umpire paid holding the ball. Why would the umpires request a review ?!?!
*I don't believe for a moment North would have taken it to the NFNL, neither did Whittlesea.

They defend it by charging $17.50 to enter a local football match.

As for “lagging him in”
He got a card which is always reviewed and the kid dropped to the ground the NFNL would have followed the incident up.
And no of course they don’t watch hours of footage looks for incidents.

So the umpires thought it was worthy of a yellow card and the tribunal thought it was worthy of 4 weeks.

should be end of it, someone has taken it further and i seriously doubt the lazy league would have done it themselves.
From all reports there wasnt much in it and the player flopped to the ground.

Im pretty sure you will find the League look at all Send offs where there is Vision. Could be wrong

Every card footage is reviewed and umpires can also write on their umpire report a time during the game they THINK something needs to be reviewed as they may have missed something but an incident COULD have happened.

It's probably the right system - unless absolutely clear it's a red/reportable incident, give a yellow then review it on the video.
I've not seen the incident, so not sure if 4 weeks is right or wrong, but the system itself makes sense.

Fair assumption and example of how bad this judiciary is. Pretty ordinary form. In saying that both players should not have put themselves in that position with finals around the corner.
I see Heidelberg player got a week also for striking anyone have footage of that?

Just watched Jake Brown get run down from behind and knocked out.
I would never ask for a player to be rubbed out for it but by the letter of the law should that bloke been reported?
