End of the day not many coaches survive relegation. Was lucky to get another go after that. Rumblings have been around for ages
End of the day the committee re appointed Kingy and were 2 seconds from promotion. Everyone forgets no one wanted the Eltham job and Kingy was a very late appointment.

Lol, no one wanted it.... I know that as not true whatsoever.
Eltham appointed Kingy well into pre season 3 seasons ago after the players wanted Super out. Good luck attracting a decent coach. The next coach will be on a hiding to nothing.

I’ve met 2 blokes ever who like Mario so I don’t blame the players... some
of the story’s...

If your players don’t buy into the coach then you are done. I don’t see the issue with what Eltham has done

My mail is he went for a meeting as he did last year again asking for an extension and was told this time he’ll have to re-apply.

shit hit the fan and next second it was decided best to move him on.

True? I wasn’t there but from a reliable source.

You’ll find Kingys departure has Chris Freeman’s fingerprints all over it. For those who don’t know Chris, he’s the father of twins that play at Eltham and has grown frustrated that his boys are have been in and out of the 1’s. Reality check Chris, Club is bigger then you and your pissant sons. You’re welcome to ship off to Panton Hill if they’ll welcome you back.
Hard to imagine a club would part ways with their coach because of a father and his sons.

I’ve heard from a player today they were told last night Apparently the club has gone in a different direction is what they told them both. It will be interesting because one of them is the reserves coach Apparently
Just seen that the head coach heta is gone club must be in the shambles to sack all three coaches in one year from the senior coaching group. Would be interesting to see if they sacked the reserves coach as well

Seriously you should write for the Herald Sun. (Click bate specialist)
The coach is not seeking reappointment. Not "the Club has sacked the coach".

The Fitzroy Stars Football & Netball Club regrettably announce that Senior Coach, Hayden Heta will not be pursuing a contract extension for the 2020 season, after a strong 2019 season.

The decision was not made lightly by Mr. Heta, who has a young family and is embarking on a new career. “I have a young family and being ever present with my kids will be my focus moving forward.
