he was looking to get drafted in this years afl draft.
hopefully can get picked up somewhere in rookie draft or the national.
kids a great player, a little short which might be his only knock but works his a$$ off and has pace and skill.

Coaches are employed to win games, it may look harsh but the 2 boys coming in to the side can play
No room for emotion or what if's when you are playing a Grand Final

Yep this happens all the time. Some guys avoid injury and play weekly and when everyone’s available find themselves unlucky.
Banyule 22 points. Hard game to pick. Eltham are the best side of the year but have had a shakey few weeks.
Yes they beat Diamond Creek but hardly convincingly.
A few questionable selections with Weatherald coming in after 2 months off and Montonaro surely not at 100%
Let’s hope for a good game. For all I know Eltham win and Weatherald gets BOG

Risky for both, but obviously with a broken hand he could run the entire time and come back fit. A sore hand is far easier to manage as well. I’d be surprised if he didn’t push through any pain he might find.
Very interesting selection for both clubs. This time tomorrow we will see which ones were right

Can see why Eltham went smaller. Think it will pay dividends.

New team in divvy 1, good to see
Watched bits of the 2nd half online and the handballing by Eltham was atrocious, hit the ground every time

Well done to Banyule, Martin was tremendous all day.

Langford finished off the good work up the field.
Thought Eltham were very disappointing, didn’t really fire a shot except for a short burst in the 3rd quarter to get it back to 10 points but after that it was all Banyule.
Well done to Eltham 2’s, definitely a few boys in that team that should be playing at 2pm next season, either at Eltham or can see other clubs coming at some of there players.

Eltham seemed to have massive stagefright. It was a very poor performance from them, Bears deserved the win and would have been surprised at the ease of it. Stil can’t believe just how poor the Panther was.

Eltham was very disappointing. Quarter time they were seriously shook as Banyule burst out of the blocks.
Langford was simply superb up forward and Martin slaughtered Eltham in the ruck. Their foot skills at time looked fantastic and they looked like a D1 side in my eyes.
Another year in D2 would be very frustrating. They need to recruit some talent. Yes they have some fantastic kids but they also need to fill a few spots where talent lacks most notably their forward line.

Their hand balling and kicking was very ordinary, time and again kicks that were so poorly executed and handballs hitting the deck…it was out of character so I am thinking mainly between the ears. Agree re forwards, ruck should be a priority as well. Marley could not time his leap at all yesterday and the bigger body just smashed the Panthers. Langford stiff not to get bog, but Martin would have been stiff as well.
