3/5 tips missing on Sth Morang and Diamond Creek

Winner of the round: Has to be Sth Morang, dominant 4 quarter effort resulting in a 47 point win. Potter getting the BOG aNd also hitting the scoreboard with 3 goals. Hope Moorcroft’s ankle injury isn’t too serious.

Loser of the round: Hard to split Lower Plenty and St Marys. Going with st Marys who if they want to play finals needed to beat recently promoted Sth Morang. Only kicking the 6 goals for the game would be the biggest concern for the Burra coaching staff

Nah wrong. Not serious at all. Will be back in a few weeks.

Thats great news. Love seeing a bloke like him running around, met him a few years ago on holidays and he was flogging himself with his fitness...made me walking to the bar at 11am feel a bit self-conscious....

Predictions for this week:

Panton Hill v Watsonia: Should be a cracker on the hill. PH to edge this in a close on. PH by 8

Diamond Creek v Epping: DC way too strong, DC by 93

Thomastown v Sth Morang: A confidence building start to the season for South Morang will see them enter this game with confidence. This might be a bridge too far for them though, Thomastown by 21.

Lower Plenty v Northcote Park: NP will be keen to bounce back after last weeks loss. Better conditions expected this week will help them. Not sure how far LP will slip this season but could easily be be waiting until at least round 5 to feature on the winners list. NP by 60

St. Marys v Eltham: Willing to give St. Marys a second chance after a round 1 shocker, but facing a tough Eltham line up will be a big challenge. Eltham by 30

Best of luck for the weekend.

Watsonia V Panton - Watsy to roll on 30 point win to the saints

Dc v epping - Diamo by 150

Thomastown v South - Might be a bit closer then first thought. Back thommo by 40 tho

Lower v Northcote - Northcote to get there first win of the year by 40+

St Marys v Eltham - Eltham to win and win comfortably. 60+

Round 2 Firstly hope everyone takes a moment to say thank you to serviceman and women who have defended our great country
Lest we forget

Panton Hill vs Watsonia. 2 teams looking to play finals in 2023, the redbacks go in with an unchanged line up from their Good Friday loss to Eltham. For the saints they will look to go to 2-0 after their good win over Lower Plenty last week. Toss of the coin but will go with the home side to open their 2023 account. Panton Hill by 7 points

Diamond Creek vs Epping. The creekers started the season off with a tough win over Northcote Park in terrible conditions last Saturday night. For Epping it was a tough Good Friday clash. Diamond Creek to have too much firepower and win by 74 points

Thomastown vs Sth Morang, 2 teams looking to go to 2-0. The Thomo bears will be without Coulson however Vasilevski returns. For the Lions they travel full of confidence after their round 1 win. Let’s hope G Moorcroft injury isn’t too serious and another star of our competition is back on the park sooner rather than later. Good test for the Lions but Thomastown at home is a tough ask, Thomo by 25 points

Lower Plenty vs Northcote Park. Both teams looking to open their account. For Lower it was a tough day at Binnak park last week and they return home looking for a win. The cougars would have been disappointed in losing to Diamond Creek last week but showed enough that they will be too strong for Lower. Cougars by 31 points

St Marys vs Eltham. St Marys were very disappointing last week and now front up to premiership favourites Eltham. St Marys forward line failed to fire last week and against a strong Eltham side I can see them slipping to 0-2. Eltham to continue their winning ways by 31 points

Enjoy the footy

Watched PH V Watsy today. Watsonia look dangerous winning by 95 absolutely demolished panton hill.

The scores from Panton Hill were not updated all day which is not unusual for Panton Hill they must not have cable on the hill yet
What was the actual score? Surely not a 95 point loss to Watsonia - with respect to Watsonia of course
Panton Hill is on maximum points with Livingstone and Blake to fit in and they may have outlayed a heap of $$$$$ this year - surely they did not get beaten by 95 points and your taking the pi$$

They definitely did

Early days but

South imo play finals. Not surprised. They have many good footballers there.

Panton Hill losing by close to 100 points at home? That’s a disaster. The Good Friday interruption didn’t help… but terrible loss.

St Mary’s, well that’s what happens when you recruit no one…
