Hopkins played 16 reserves games in div 3 in their premiership year and all year the twos the year prior. All about the numbers on the park I guess. The last bloke announced was a thirds player, hopefully the better recruits they have announced haven’t been duped with what was supposed to come in.

Will play every week if fit, has battled injury concerns for last 3-4 years

On the injuries I hear the Lalor trainer was bit of a gun. Not a lot of experience but really got the job done and had the respect of the players. The out going 2nds coach couldn't talk him up enough. Hearing the club has been slow to resign him and he is looking at other options

Might I add, Luke Brock, key utility has rejected offers from Williamstown and Coburg to remain at his club after a break. Something brewing down there, possibly most exciting division with all these current signings amongst the league - heard Luke has a few mates down there too, likes of leading goal kicker 2022 Andrew Cafari out MV way ???
The latest from the OPs camp is that Luke Brock has signed on for Moonee Valley.
All eyes will now turn to Andrew Cafari - with the club uncertain on what his next move will be.
These two were a lethal combination scoring 77 goals between them in the 2022 Div2 VAFA season.

You're obsessed with them, what did they do to you?

Had a look at socials and they seem to be signing more than most, we all know they need that but any signing is a good signing for them, if they can get two sides on park and no double ups it is a successful season.

Had a beer with some of the cricket club today and a few of the bloods boys were there filming something. Talk is still around 15 to 20 new players and a big chunk of their "more reliable" guys from last season. So 2 teams looking likely if all goes well.

Will need quite a few players to fill 2 sides. ATM just replacing what has left.

Always going to be a slow build. They aren't just instantly going to attract top level talent. Unfortunately the third worst side in d3 is not going to be half bad (at this stage). Reservoir and Lalor at this stage will be lucky to get within 80-100 points of anyone else.

How's Lance go as a coach? If he can get them at least playing a system and stoping huge blow outs that would be ideal.

If the umpire didn't pay a mark that wasn't a mark they could've won a flag. What could've been! 4 goals up with 14 minutes to go hurts aswell.

SWOOPINGTIME

Just rechecked the results, Laurimar won by 6 points, but if the incorrect 50 paid to Mernda after half time siren resulting in a goal correct margin should've been 12 points.

2 teams can’t just be looking likely it has to be a definite.
