Not even close to the GOAT and won’t be close.

That’s not a bad thing. He’s a very good footballer but will never be in genuine discussions for the greatest ever.

None if us have any idea what he will be to be honest.

I suggest we wait until his career has comes to an end or is close to coming to an end. We will have a better idea then.

He could still be a great but we won't know until later on. I'm surprised this thread has gone on for as long as it has.

Only player scragging in those picks was Newman, wraps both arms around H.
Happened all night. Nicky boy wouldn't need 2 blokes to stop him because we all know he's got the body strength of a piece of string cheese... That's what separates him from a player legitimately in the GOAT conversation like GAJ. He worked through this sort of scragging and illegal tactics on a weekly basis.

All I get out of those photos is that Collingwood are light years ahead of Carlton at stoppages

You may not he laughing in time if Daicos starts winning a whole heap of individual awards in the future.

Robert Harvey won 2 brownlows, anyone think he is in GOAT conversations? Fyfe?

Players at least 1 flag & brownlow

Mitchell, Crawford, Swan, Bartel, Black, Voss, Aker, Crawford, Wanganeen, Greig

Any of them that you would have in GOAT conversations?

No scragging in those pics as Newman wasnt at the stoppage.

And no shit, GOATcos is a skinny 21 year old in his 3rd season. But despite his lack of size and strength, he is already the dominant stoppage midfielder in the game.

It took GAJ until his 6th season when he had already played 100 games to become a star.

GOATcos much further advanced so far, scary how good he will be when he physically matures in a few years.

He may have already peaked as well no one really knows do they. Coaches find ways to stop good players and if the tag becomes popular again, he also may not be as effective going forward either.

But everyone is guessing here. What the next level for him in all seriousness. It's already a high standard.
He won't get any bigger very similar build to his dad.
Cripps tried to put on bulk- it slowed him down. Same will happen with anyone.
Everyone is assuming a third year player's game will continue to improve with each additional year he has in the system, in the same way that it has year on year over his first three seasons (on the back of his final two junior seasons being impacted by COVID).

It is a very reasonable assumption.

Can't think of too many players who rose to the top of the game in 3 years then faded

He's only going to get (a lot) better, it's pretty frightening
