Rowell got a game high 9 score involvements from 44 scores in the match.

Daicos got 6 score involvements from 51 scores in the match.

That was probably the difference in the impact of their possessions today.

Rowell was banging it into an incompetent bunch of Richmond defenders (out pointed by the Suns forwards), who were dealing with an onslaught.

The Collingwood forwards were well beaten by a strong defence and weren't being peppered with the footy.

It doesn't surprise me that Rowell was involved in more scores.

Rowell's game was still better, but not from a simple look at the stat sheet regarding SIs.

I watched the Gold Coast Suns today and Rowell just physically impose himself on the game. To me those sorts of players are still the pinnacle of the game at their best, the guys that can physically just boss a game, it's why I've always considered the Cripps, Bontempelli, Judd, Martin, Voss, Petracca player types to have that extra something, and I don't think Daicos has that, although he has other great strengths and weapons he hasn't reached that level of physical dominance yet.

If he never does, he'll never be the GOAT in my eyes.

Yep Cripps the player who celebrates a Brownlow but failed and flopped in the biggest game of his life. 13 possessions wasn’t it? Choked when it counted. He can have his Brownlow. Shame he can’t win a Premiership one like Nick.

Team awards are infinitely superior to individual ones, IMO.
