Yep and finally we have got rid of them all hopefully. Fisher/ Dow and OBrien were the last we cleared out.Worked well for the last 3 decades I suppose.
But he played... Richmond.I watched the Gold Coast Suns today and Rowell just physically impose himself on the game.
I like it.
This is all that matters, champ.Do you even understand what constitutes a contested possession?
Any possession with an opponent within 2m of you is classified as a contested possession. Show me a hard ball get from Nicky and i will wait.
In the mean time there is plenty of footage of him shirking a contest and running away from blokes!

Biggest stage of them all. Better than anything a Carlton player has done in decades.
Jog on back to your bunker and let the adults talk.
NoneI meant current Brownlow worthy players under 50 games. Bradley retired decades ago.
Hogan, Green, Brown, Daniels, Kelly, Himmelberg, Whitfield more influential than Nicki tonightBrown and Hogan won't get Brownlow votes as they are not midfielders.
Rowell was banging it into an incompetent bunch of Richmond defenders (out pointed by the Suns forwards), who were dealing with an onslaught.Rowell got a game high 9 score involvements from 44 scores in the match.
Daicos got 6 score involvements from 51 scores in the match.
That was probably the difference in the impact of their possessions today.
Three best mids.Maybe not, so who gets them then?
Spot onI watched the Gold Coast Suns today and Rowell just physically impose himself on the game. To me those sorts of players are still the pinnacle of the game at their best, the guys that can physically just boss a game, it's why I've always considered the Cripps, Bontempelli, Judd, Martin, Voss, Petracca player types to have that extra something, and I don't think Daicos has that, although he has other great strengths and weapons he hasn't reached that level of physical dominance yet.
If he never does, he'll never be the GOAT in my eyes.
Perhaps he figured his teammate could do the tackle, and he would get the ball if it slipped out mid tackle?
Or perhaps he figured that trying to win that ball involved body contact...
Nick Defercos.
Nick Defecatos.
Care to say that to his face or are you just another gutless keyboard gutter snipe and the real squib?Cripps has had 29 CP in a game before. Get back to us when Nick gets close to that. He's a squib.
Wise beyond his years if you ask me.That Red thing Nicky is what we are after mate and need to get a hold of!
Nicky be like cant someone else just give it to me??
Team awards are infinitely superior to individual ones, IMO.Yep Cripps the player who celebrates a Brownlow but failed and flopped in the biggest game of his life. 13 possessions wasn’t it? Choked when it counted. He can have his Brownlow. Shame he can’t win a Premiership one like Nick.
