How does loose man in defence dominate his opponents?

He has an opponent every week, but he just zones off and double teams the key forward when required. People call Heath Shaw a loose man as well, yet he also seems to have an opponent every week. Just where exactly are we getting all these loose men back there?!

I've had Shaw's past 1-2 months on the same level as Enright's best form. Shaw has been insane lately, close to the best back flanker on form currently.

He was poor beforehand though, so he can't be considered for AA.

Maxwell isn't an AA contender this year, no way. I'm just glad the guy has become a good player, rather than the piss poor player he was last year.

Been an absolutely inspired choice as captain and one of the most improved players in the AFL this year but is not AA material.

I've always liked Nick Maxwell but his performance in the press yesterday was really poor. There were plenty of ways to handle the questions on the brawl but the "it wasn't us....they started it...we coldn't do anything" was pathetic! Should have kept his trap shut. Bad form.

Anyway, not AA IMO. Others playing better.
