Admit, Underwood reached fever pitch for us in that play.Underwood gets more excited than the others so can depend whos commentating at the time of the play.
We still areCan't really complain about the umps today, frees are 13-4 in our favour.
Kearney must have a sharp tongue- she always get under the oppositions skin lolKirsty lamb getting weeks for the off the ball hit?
I think Craven suffers from the same thing as Bruton, size. Or lack of. Both are great in open space and very creative with ball in hand, but in contested situations are easily bumped out of position. That’s not to say they don’t have their moments in close, both are capable of breaking clear and delivering laces out to a team mate. Also where’s those footy illiterates that were bagging Tess craven - lineup in an orderly manner for a flogging

Feels like they wanted the narrative that the fresh young marketable Bulldogs are the new powerhouse and old North Melbourne are done. Too bad we spoiled the party. Their "undefeated streak" was paper-thin when you actually look at who they've played, fact is today was their first encounter with a real formidable opposition and they went down badly. Until now they've played 2 brand new expansion sides (and not even the competitive one in Essendon), a collapsing Freo and a GWS outfit that's never really gotten off the ground (and they didn't beat either by much). Their only tough matchup from here is Melbourne at Casey, AND they still get to play strugglers St. Kilda, Carlton and West Coast. They might beat Geelong.Interesting little stat from today's game. The commentators were going on and on about the Western Bulldogs being the younger team today and while that was the case, what they didn't mention was they were also the most experienced team and had only 2 players with under 10 AFLW games experience compared to North's 5 plus Amy Smith playing her 10th.
Pre match one of the commentators pointed out they have played the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th placed team. Never has a team's position been so overly exaggerated by an unfair draw, and that is the issue with the ten round season, the unfairness is exaggerated so much more because you are not playing every team.Feels like they wanted the narrative that the fresh young marketable Bulldogs are the new powerhouse and old North Melbourne are done. They'll almost certainly finish top 4 and get found out in the finals.
