Was at the game tonight

Roos played well but swans got over the line with experience.

Good luck 2010 roos :thumbsu:

We got bent over on the scoreboard, was it just a dysfunctional forward line or what? Hard to tell from the updates where the wheels fell off the wagon, seemed they got a bit of a burst in the third and just cruised away after that.

Hopefully Bon's post match press conference will reveal what went awry. He's been pretty spot on with his post game assessments thus far.

I'm no huge Aussie Crawl fan, so I don't want to get into Semantics here, but...

Clubs should be. However, currently, they're not. And there is no process in place to do so.

Hence, "above and beyond".

(But to quote Mike The Cool Person - "we quibble over terms".)

I dunno

maybe........ ahead of the times
on the front foot
paving the way
building the bridge
setting the foundations.......etc etc etc

Over 17,000 views of the thread too. Not bad for a "noob"!

To be fair 5k of those were me. Was enthralled.

Glad to see you picked up a Heath O'lough quote for your sig like i did twinkle :thumbsu:

Ahhh, that explains that then. Yep, Heath fully earnt his BF stripes tonight. I couldn't resist quoting that line. I almost spat coffee over my laptop when I read it, I was laughing that hard :D

You know the AFL has finally gone mad when Adrian Anderson reads the one post here Heath made criticising an umpiring decision and fines the club.

Surely you are extracting the urine?

I like this line in the aged:

"Veteran Drew Petrie was good for the Roos to start and kicked two goals before fading."

Didn't he sit the second half out?

Just read the thread again.

Some absolute quality posting by Heath. :thumbsu:

"Wells just ran and had 5 bounces from the backline and goaled from 50.........There was movement"

"Ziebell almost decapitated himself by diving on the ball - no surprise."

Felt like I "watched" the game all over again.

Ok, this is all well and good, but am I the only one still waiting for a report on the pies at the Nerrandera bakery?

Pies from Nerrandera Bakery > (daylight) > Baked potatoes from Skilled

Hope this helps.

Ganmain pies > (daylight) > Baked potatoes from Skilled

Hope this helps.

Edited for accuracy.

The best pies in the Narrandera district are the Ganmain Pies - made in (you guessed it) Ganmain (home of the Ganmain Grong Grong Matong Lions). Luckily for Narrandera residents and visitors Ganmain pies are available in Narrandera.

The though of a Ganmain pie has me salivating...

Was born in Narrandera and use to live directly across the road from the ground on Victoria Avenue. Fantastic ground. Arguably the best regional ground in NSW.

And the bakery pies........phenomenal :)

Why are 4 and 20's 5 times better at the footy than cooked at home?

The big question.

You're freezing and distracted enough to not notice the gristle, beaks and hooves, thanks to being AT the footy. There's about .000000002% actual meat. PUKE :red face looking like it's gonna explode:
